March 4, Classic Revenge Game -- Knicks Will Be Jazz Killers

It feels like Dolan...
He's a disturbed individual. He really is. It's not just having to do with the Knicks. He used to run the big cable company around here and he was notoriously unstable and petty and vindictive there. I'll say it again, Dolan is disturbed. He's not a normal human being.

My God, this crap now with Spike. You are right, it does seem like Dolan sits there and deliberately does things that will make himself more hated and foolish. The friggin' guy fired a security guard because she politely asked him to show her his pass! She did her job and he fired her!!!!

It’s these type of guys that lead me to believe you don’t want to leave a lot of money for your kids... born on third and thinks he hit a triple.

That video of Spike above is must watch, folks. Six minutes and it's far more entertaining than any of his recent films (I didn't like BlackKKlansman").

I ran into Spike once at a Prince concert at the Jones Beach theater. He was sitting all alone at a picnic table in the middle of the concourse. I said hello to him, he said hello back. Pleasant fellow. I looked back at him as I walked away and laughed. The guy was sitting alone eating some fries with hundreds of people walking right by him. He is one of us. Yeah, he has $4,000 a game courtside seats, and he's tight with a ton of players; but be it Prince or the Knicks, he really is just a fan like us.

I’m going to just leave this here.

Lol didn’t Dolan just start the process of trying to make nice with Charles Oakley, now he’s alienating Spike Lee number one Knicks fan. Dolan is a complete embarrassment. The nba needs to get rid of this idiot.

What a **** show! Any other arena with a fan that is 1- that incredibly dedicated to the team and 2- that has the celebrity status of Spike Lee would knock down a wall if that's where they wanted to enter. To create an issue about entry location when he's been using that entrance for 28 years is asinine. To spring it on him like that and treat him like he's committing some kind of ****ing crime is flat out disrespectful and completely uncalled for.

Uhh, you do realize we just beat the living hell out of the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are the best team in NBA -- we just beat them. If A is the best team in the NBA and B beats them, then B is the best team in the NBA. That's us.

We just humiliated the Rockets. Can you imagine what we will do to you on Wednesday. Oh, man. You Jazz shouldn't even be allowed to play us. You ain't in our league.

I told you we are a top team (best in NBA right now). We just destroyed the Rockets. What we do to you Jazz on Wednesday will be a war crime.

Hey Melo yellow. What did your juggernaut Knicks do exactly to dismantle the rockets ??? Have they provided a blueprint for the rest of the league in how to dismantle Houston or did you just get lucky and catch them on an off night ??

If Gail Miller wanted to be the most savage owner in pro sports she should come to the game and invite spike Lee to sit next to her and gift him a Mitchell jersey and jazz hat. That would be epic.

Spike Lee in Madison Square Garden in jazz gear hanging with Gail. Lol. Get yourself on ESPN Gail!!!

I’m shocked I haven’t heard this on any of the NY radio here but I couldn’t help but think that Rose just took over two days ago (three?) in his executive position and that perhaps he directed this. The timing would be hugely coincidental if not.

Read the following. It might seem long, but every word is valuable.

How did we dismantle the Rockets? What blueprint did we draw up?
We played paint ball.

We did what every team should do (but doesn't do) against them - we exploited and toyed with their small ball game. We played everything inside the paint. (We only took 30 threes, they took 60!) We attacked that rim. Took shots from the paint. Hell, if we missed those shots we knew because their biggest guy was PJ Tucker at just 6'5'' we could out rebound them and put up another shot. If we missed, we didn't care -- we knew the very next shot was ours. We got an astonishing 20 offensive rebounds to their 8. Total rebounds was 76-42! Tucker their big man is only one inch taller than our point guard Frank The Frenchman. You throw in our monster Mitchell Robinson who never moves away from under the rim and they really didn't have a chance against us.

We played paint ball. Inside game. We sure as hell weren't going to beat them trying to match threes, so we kept our game close to the rim and gobbled up the rebounds from their small lineup. We really did use their lineup against them. Our coach Mike Miller is a basketball journey man (small unheard of colleges and D League coaching) and that is why he is so good. He is grass roots basketball. He knows our team does not have the elite players, but he knows that if you play sound smart fundamental basketball (rebounds wins games) you can beat a super team like the Rockets.

It was a great win. Really astonishing to watch. D'Antoni was going nuts. He saw what we were doing and knew he couldn't stop it. He got outcoached by a guy who was coaching Division II UC Riverside five years ago. We love our coach Miller - fans and players do. Unfortunately our dopey owner and front office want a sexy celebrity coach (Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, John Calipari, Jay Wright, Jason Kidd...) and Miller is gone. Sad and a shame. Our guy Miller more than anybody else deserves to be a coach in the NBA. Makes you hate professional sports to see a deserving guy like Coach Miller get let go just so the team could bring in a headline-grabbing guy.

Not to feed the troll, but it was one of the most frustrating things to watch Gobert go 3-7 and grab 6 boards against them the other day.

You had me up until you called the Rockets a super team...
