Following Potential 2020 draftees

I like this guy. I think he has more offense than he showed at FSU this year.

He does. Williams stock will only keep going up in this draft. One of the reasons Ive been hyping him for a while is just i was sure he was gonna pass the eye test..

If we traded Gobert for a pick, what’s the lowest pick in.this draft ppl would do? 3? 5?

Bro, no one would give up Luka or Zion for Gobert.

No, but this 2020 draft sucks nuts. Anthony Edwards is the only guy I can think of that I really like. I think Cassius Stanley is intriguing but I'm not sure he's actually good at basketball. Cole Anthony, I actually think will be better in the NBA than he was in college. Not sure he's a potential all star though. Just an ugly year for prospects.

Okongwu is my favorite in the draft, but I wouldn't trade Gobert for him without a solid amount extra coming our way.

If we were offered Okongwu, Toppin or Wiseman, plus a solid wing, I'd consider it. Part of the question is whether we think Gobert is going to stay in free agency and how much we want to pay to keep him. I like Rudy and think he's a max player, but I don't want to go too much higher than max given his offensive limitations.

I see a bunch of bigs and wings in this draft who are above average. I just don't believe this draft is as strong for PGs as it has been touted to be. I'm not a believer in Ball, Hampton, Haliburton, etc.

Wiseman, Toppin and Okongwu all look like bonafied top-5 picks to me. I see star potential in all of them.

I also see some star potential in Devin Vassell and Jaden McDaniels, maybe Patrick Williams as well.

This kid from Texas Tech should be a starting-caliber player. He could be available in the 24 range. This isn't a bad draft necessarily, there just isn't a Tier 1 superstar at the very top.

right now my pick for the Jazz is Paul reed in the first round.

I'm backing off on Paul Reed just a bit. I think his role projects as a richer version of Kevon Looney. That's a rotation player for sure, but I'm not sure he can do a whole lot with the ball outside the post. The Jazz need a dynamic wing who is a legit triple threat.

In a mock draft Forbes had the Jazz taking this guy:
19. Utah Jazz: Vernon Carey Jr., C, Duke – Freshman

Some scouts weren’t sold on Carey coming into the season, but he’s been undeniably effective. Over a six-game stretch from mid-November through early December, Carey averaged 22.3 points (on 57% shooting), 11.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in 27.2 minutes.

Jazz really need BPA. Not sure position matters, though I would avoid any traditional non skilled center (unless they are elite athletes)

I don't know what it would take to get this guy, but he's a star. Only 19. He does virtually everything well on both ends. Just a complete player.

So basically Tony Bradley 2.0? Pass.
