Following Potential 2020 draftees

He gives me Kerry Kittles vibes. I need to see him shoot better and do more off the dribble before I see him as an impact player.

ummmm what about him is Kerry Kittles? More Andrew Wiggins if you ask me. Still an absurd athlete who’s not a great basketball player.

Not sure if you remember Kerry Kittles. He was a 6'6" high-flying athlete who could slash and finish at the rim, but couldn't create much off the dribble or shoot consistently.

I remember him curling off picks and hitting 15 footers. Thats about it. Granted I was pretty young then.

There are some good players in this draft. I don't think it's as bad as people have been saying.

Obi Toppin looks fairly comparable to Blake Griffin at Oklahoma. Old school comp might be Derrick Coleman, with more bounce and more brain.
James Wiseman is a talented, athletic big with a whole lot of potential.
Jaden McDaniels has tremendous upside -- almost like a Jonathan Isaac with offense.
The Okongwu kid at USC is a lot like Jaren Jackson Jr.... well, except without the jumpshot.

Even though it's supposed to be a PG draft, I'm not that blown away by the guards near the top. I actually like the wings and bigs more.

Patrick Williams from FSU and Tyler Bey are players the Jazz should be looking at.
Saddiq Bey is a shooter with size.
Jalen Smith could find a spot on our roster.
Devin Vassel is kind of a cheap Reggie Miller imitation, see Allan Houston.
Aaron Nesmith could be comparable to Buddy Hield.

Paul Reed at Depaul looks like a Josh Jackson / Josh Smith-caliber prospect.

He has a high floor. I think you can be confident you're getting at least a Jamychal Green-type rotation player. He could be a starter. He looks like he knows how to play and plays hard all the time. That's worth a lot. He can make shots and score in different situations. He's also got a good handle and is a good passer. The Jazz could make him look good in Quin's system playing on the ball a bit.

Devin Vassel, a 6'6" shooting wing whose old-school comp might be Allan Houston. Nice player who could be a piece of the puzzle for us. I love how he can shoot off the dribble and create his own look.

I'll be shocked if McDaniels doesn't go top 10. He's being mocked below that right now. It would be sweet to put him next to Mitchell and Gobert.

Agreed. I wouldnt be shocked if he doesnt go top-10 but id be shocked if he doesnt go near the top-10.. I think its kinda a comprable situation with Kelly Oubre pre-draft...

I think teams will like his talent, and his risk/reward in the scope of this field, but will be worried about what he can actually contribute in his first 4 years...

Elijah Hughes outa Syracuse declared. PRetty sure Tre Jones did too.. How strange it is to be posting this in March..
