From everyone except one person, which is my point. I have no problem with you mentioning Trump related to Corona virus in this thread since you post a variety of things. You don't seem to have an agenda and don't spam every thread with one topic.

But either way. I've detracted enough and made my point so I'll stop posting about it.
 
I'm trying to stay positive. But this is looking bad. Really really bad. THE crisis of our lifetimes. So many people are going to die. Economies could be crippled for years/decades. (Praying it doesn't get to depression levels). It doesn't look like life is gonna be what it was for a long time.
 
One thing I wish there was less stink about was ventilators. Distancing/slowing spread and PPE for healthcare professionals are the big pushes for me.

People on ventilators for pnuemonia die more often than not, that's the sad truth.

It's getting worse than I thought it would. I think that level is far more dramatic than it could be. We will get a vaccine within a year from now. The economy will be greatly effected but it seems impossible to be too be effected that long. I could be wrong though. That is one reason that I personally pushed myself to start my PhD this next year. I'm pretty sure the economy is going to suffer for a few years. So hopefully when I am done things will be better.

I wonder, does the bigger islands of big countries also have at least one person who is infected? For example, Hawaii islands for US (currently entire Hawaii state seems to have 205 infected persons), Madeira and Azores for Portugal etc.
Unfortunatelly, for Estonia the largest island Saaremaa has the record for most infected. Due to the game with Italian volleyball team and an alcohol related trade show most of the island and our territory got a pretty high spike. Saaremaa island is also now on a separate lockdown from the mainland of Estonia.

Also, can somebody clarify - is it true, that the worldometers.info belongs to a Chinese company? If the traffic of that website is as high as it is - they enjoy a quite nice flow of money thanks to ads on that site.

Of course their markets are back open. They never closed in the USA... They did ban wild animals though.

Bats are on the banned list. Although pigs are still a far scarier risk if we she going by that. Camels are also quite dangerous as well to be around live. They are shown to be carrying MERS. Oh, also water fowl she dangerous for the same reason. Maybe you should protest people feeding ducks at the park up close since they carry deadly versions of the flu that could potentially be much worse than this.
