I see where you're coming from, in an alternate reality "insert politician here" administration may have ended up with a poor response to this crisis as well. The dysfunction in our government goes beyond Trump, though his temperament makes it a lot easier to see.

But we live in this reality, and Trump made the mistakes Thriller is pointing out. We don't really have control over what China does, but at least in theory we can hold our own leadership accountable for their failings.

You don't have any now control over what Trump does than you do than what China does...

I'm okay with holding them accountable and calling things out.

But when that is literally all you post. And no matter what anyone else posts your comment or reaction is: Trump!!! Then it's over the top. There are many many many many issues with this virus one of them is Trump, that's just one is them though. When 99.9% of your posts are about 1 thing in every thread it's excessive. Plus sometime things aren't black and white. In fact, they rarely are. Party allegiance is a pretty silly thing to stand by all of the time. Sometimes your political stance isn't helping and making this worse.

Constantly trying to make this issue a political one isn't really helping. Bashing on Trump every chance you get doesn't help you argument it makes it much weaker.

Maybe, but to be honest Trump brings all of this on himself. Multiple times a day he says or does something ridiculous. I mean, having the my pillow guy read a fawning letter to Trump at a pandemic press briefing? It's almost too weird to be true, and yet that really happened today.

If hearing about what a dunce Trump is is annoying to you I'd suggest just putting thriller on ignore, because he's not going to stop pointing this stuff out until Trump stops doing them.

Hogwash. We have few active threads on this website right now with the season suspended. The few threads are all political and related to Trump. If you want to create a general thread that doesn’t involve politics, go ahead. What do you want to talk about? Drive by restaurants? Gum flavors? Weight workouts? Go ahead and create the thread. If it’s interesting I’ll join and contribute to it.

He’s earned the criticism he’s receiving. From gutting the CDC, to ignoring intelligence reports, to downplaying this pandemic, to attacking governors, and now to having the My Pillow guy speak at a press conference. Why? Can you give me any reason why the **** the My Pillow Guy should speak at a press conference for our federal government?

He’s clearly the worst president of all time. If you can’t take hearing that, then please, put me on ignore. I’m not going to stop attacking him and I really don’t think it hurts (my cause). Whatever cause you perceive that to be.

Um... Earth to WHO ... symptoms don't show up for up to 7-14 days... and in some cases they don't show up at all (Super-Spreader).

How do you know you're not ALREADY sick???

LOL. And you can’t nor shouldn’t separate it from our government’s horrible response to the outbreak. It’s crucial to understand that our federal government’s horrific response is leading to deaths and will continue to. How can’t you see how politics affects this?
