Very good call. I know this is me being overly optimistic but we'd have something here if the could put on another 15-20 pounds of lean muscle.

Add: You can tell he's definitely put on a solid base. From the free throw line, you can see a much better frame than I expected as well as decent size and tone. I thought he was skinnier than that.

For me he seems like a much much weaker Gasol . I dont think he can ever get mins in nba. And Croatia couldnt even make past that weak group, same on them. Ante Tomic should better stay in europe if he wanna continue being a good player or he can come to nba and be forgotten

Not really seeing Yao, but still seeing a lot of Pau-like qualities and I do think he could be successful over here. Could definitely use a little more bulk, but I don't think he's so skinny that he couldn't be effective.

if management is really smart, they would package him to some team as a trade asset

Is it even possible to put muscle on his frame? I agree 10-20 pounds and he could be an effective player in the NBA. Not so sure that he wouldn't have some value as he is though.

If being skilled and having basketball iq was enough to be successful in nba, this guy could be a stud and europeans would have dominated nba, but unfortunately thats not the real world. As a jazz fans, best things for us to use him as a trade asset , otherwise he will play 1 year and return back to europe without any value in return

Here is a table showing PER from the tournament. Guess who is #2. He is the only player remotely close to his twin Pau Gasol that had significant minutes. Kanter did very well also with a 26 PER, good for 15th best (ahead of JV).
