Charles Curtis(who??), was Vice President from 1929-1933, being Herbert Hoover’s running mate. Curtis was about 3/8 Native American. His mother was Kaw, Osage, Potawatomi, and...French. On his mother’s side, he was a descendent of Chief White Plume of the Kaw nation, and Chief Pawhuska of the Osage. As an 8 year old in 1868, he survived an attack by 100 Cheyanne warriors on the Kaw reservation in Kansas.

my goodness... just think on the nonsense our media has focused on in the last few years.

Bernie said something about Cuba 40 years ago, Hillary called racists, deplorables, and Obama wore a tan suit... the stuff that the media focuses on Democrats for and the nonstop crazy from trump that they ignore is appalling.

it’s really frustrating to me the nonsense trump gets away with because our media is obsessed with this false notion of “balance.” Sure, Bernie’s comments about Cuba were poorly thought out. But the obvious intellectual and moral black hole that occupies the White House should consume 99 percent of our media’s coverage.

Actual lineage doesn't matter. It only matters how one identifies. This is the modern day where everything is only what anyone pretends it is.

By that, if you mean how you are raised matters more than what your bloodline is, absolutely.

It’s true that candidates have been faking it more than ever since the advent of TV. It is all just marketing, after all. Just the selling of a president. And people select their favorite based on emotion more often than reason. Perfect for a marketing pitch. People have always sold themselves of course, and slung the bs to do so, TV just made it possible to appeal to potential buyers on a grand scale.
 


Not sure trump going down this aisle is a winning solution.

the alternative is to accuse his family of exploiting Biden’s position to enrich itself. Which... isn’t a winning solution either.

I guess trump could always go on his record, 70,000+ dead and 30 percent unemployment
