So 5.3% of the players tested positive for the Rona... If only someone could have predicted that...

What will the percentages be in the bubble... I think it will be almost 0% or they will have an outbreak and it will be 10%. I just find it hard to believe that the virus will get in and spread when they are doing daily testing and monitoring symptoms. I think it spreads in households like 20% of the time. Rudy or DM got it and only infected one other team member. Wood had it and I don't think any other Piston got it.

I think the playoff happens and if it is disrupted or doesn't work well it won't be related to the virus.

They will be masked and distanced. They will also be using temperature checks and such. The bubble will be much safer than the outside world... and we know these guys are out in the world.

Russ has the Rona... in quarantine... Harden stayed back and didn't travel with the team... prompting a great joke about him always traveling in isolation... I digress... but maybe harden has it too... interesting.

I can't remember but did they mention the playoff format? Is it still going to be 7 game series or will shortened in the first round.

I'm still not sure how excited I am about the re-start of the season. Personally, I think it should have been canned and just wait 3 more months for the 20-21 season. I have a fear that this season will delay 20-21 and Adam Silver will use it to start or accelerate his new format. The soccer style season and play in tournament or however that STUPID thing was supposed to work. I think he wants a season that starts in February right after the superbowl.

If we lose this season you can basically write off next year too... It is simple to say "just end the season" but the players and owners will lose billions. No one is going to start a season without fans during the beginning of flu season. This is a trial to see if they can have next season.

Next season has a 50/50 shot of happening and it will either be significantly modified or start in the spring.

Dude... there’s too much money on the line. If there’s a delay, it won’t be a long delay if at all. IMO.
