The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

It’s weird how cult 45 always tries to make their cowardly wannabe authoritarian doughboys appear heroic and strong. Barr isn’t courageous nor is he manly. Trump is the most high maintenance and effeminate president we’ve had in history. Yet you constantly see the cult putting his face on body builders and action movie heroes. It’s really weird.
Says the guy who uses Chuck Norris as his avatar. Too rich.

The Republican bill is fair. No sane person thinks the unemployed deserve another 5 months of getting paid more money to sit on their *** than to work.
I agree it's fair. The Democrats bill is also fair.
People staying home and getting paid hasn't hurt me at all. In fact they probably have more money to spend and so it probably actually helps my company have more volume/production.

I think it's kind of cool that a lot of people that were making like 10-15 dollars per hour and working 60 hours per week and missing their families pre covid have been getting to feel what it's like to make 20-25 dollars and hour and see their families more.
It won't last forever. There will be a vaccine and sporting events and concerts and restaurants and bars/clubs and the travel industry will go back to normal and these people can go back to slaving away for peanuts. Kinda cool that they got to live it up for a few months.

I'm a little jealous of the people that have been getting this unemployment benefit but I would rather have the good stable job that I have than get a few months nice vacation and then have to look for work and worry what job I will be able to find.

I'm much more jealous of the ultra rich and the huge huge tax breaks trump gave them and also the bailout money going to huge rich corporations in these stimulus packages.

HTF are you all determining what’s “fair” right now? That’s such a weird way to pitch this problem and its various solutions.
Agreed. I have felt pretty lucky that I have been able to continue to work during all this.

Yep and that was fine for 3 months. For the countries long term health though you can't pay people obscene money to stay home, become obese, lose their skills, and expect to compete in the global economy.

There’s a serious pandemic right now. Have you heard about covid-19, Mr O’Reilly?

If you're unemployed my condolences, but what's wrong with 70% of your paycheck? You get to spend quality time with your family, play games, watch movies, still get another 1200 stimulus, and can make some money on the side if you have any useful skills. For being in a serious pandemic, that's more than fair.

Sitting aside and watching a 40-year cycle of unequal wealth distribution is totally natural, tough. Right, O’Reilly?

You make more assumptions in this short message than I would’ve thought possible in such little space. Grats?

A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck, but they still enjoy the best living conditions compared to the rest of the world. Move to any other country, and you'll be worse off. This is not guaranteed forever. Especially true for the younger generation, if you have kids.

Thanks for more bromides?
