We had this thread before a couple years ago. Seems like we could make ourselves into a legit contender if we could figure out how to combine just two players on our roster.

Which two players could we combine to make us a contender?

Conley and Gobert

Slide Mitchell to PG

Gobert would be unstoppable. Point guard handles and be able to shoot the 3 plus be able to guard the perimeter even better.

Niang and Brantley

Ingles and Oni

Udoka and Niang

Royce and NWG for some basic PG skills and a open roster spot

Udoka and Mike Conley... not sure how the science works but I think combining them gives you a 6’8” wing that blocks shots, shoots, and is in his prime at 27.

I can one up you. Gobert and Jordan Clarkson. Gobert still gets the guard skills, the shooting, more athletic and wait for it.......

post up skills.

Anyone and Niang. Niang has the superpower to get regular minutes on an NBA team while not being anything close to an NBA players. So obviously add niang to anybody will automatically make them an unstoppable force.

Ingles and one of the young guys. Just so Ingles can be younger. I am not above a human sacrifice for a gem like Jingles.

You fools!!!

Gobert + Miye Oni. So, you may think that a 7'0 super long, rim protecting defender is good. But now extend those defensive skills all the way out to the perimeter.

Combine Goberts efficiency with Miyes stroke beyond the 3 point line.

Mix in that Stifle Tower with an Ivy League head and you have a fine package.

Finally, Miye Oni's favorable team contract seals the deal. Miye Gobert for the win.
