And I thought Sergei Karasev would be a NBA player. Shudders.

TBF I'm pretty sure there was a good chunk of people who thought Tim Thomas was gonna be better than KVH, that wasnt the case either.



That was just a draft full of duds tho... PPL even thought Chauncey Billups was a big dud at first...

I think the biggest one that most of us thought was that Wiggins was going to be a lot better than he is. That draft was one of the most hyped drafts I can remember.

I remember the Kanter, Burks draft well. I really wanted Klay, I just had no idea he’d be as good as he’s been. In that same draft I did miss on Leonard. I dismissed him thinking he wasn’t enough of a wing or big, boy was I wrong.

No doubt. Wiggins, jabari, X, and Gordon were all pretty big disappointments.
And wiggins is the best of that group but I agree that he has still been disappointing.

From that hyped draft Embiid is the only one that has turned out how I thought he would (well, exum kind of turned out like I thought he would too)

Very very disappointing draft in proportion to it's hype.

Funny that his two only NBA starts came for us. Didn`t he have a huge game against LeBron where they hugged it out afterwards?

It seems like they dumped him and Ronnie Brewer at about the same time and brought in those DLeague legends Yatti Gaines and Othyus Jeffers.

I really wanted to trade up to 2 to draft Derrick Williams in 2011. I thought for sure he was going to be at least an all-star. Brandon Knight was next on my list. If we didn’t trade up I wanted to take Knight at 3.

I have never been as happy after a draft as I was in 2013. We got TREY ****ING BURKE!!! I loved watching him in the NCAA Tournament. He was sensational. One of the best tournament performances ever. I’ll never forget that Sweet 16 game against Kansas. They were down 8 with 1:20 to go and he went supernova. I was so happy after that draft man... It sucks it never worked out.
