Jazz select Udoka Azubuike with pick 27 & trade Tony Bradley + pick 38 to the Pistons

We should test this theory moving forward. Someone should only watch Baylor games this year and find the standouts, then narrow it down to guys who would be on the board when we pick.
Going back:
  • Brandon Clarke (reportedly a Jazz favorite) dropped 36 against Baylor
  • Grayson Allen surprisingly never faced Baylor during 4 years at Duke
  • Tony Bradley never faced Baylor
Maybe we should hope that the Jazz draft someone who does well against Baylor: Clarke & Donovan turned out great. Maybe Azibuike and Hughes will be next ;)

Joe Ingles scored 40 in an preseason exhibition game when Macabi played Baylor. Okay that isn’t true.

Udoka's advanced stats are actually slightly better than Joel Embiid's and Onyeka Okongwu's. Udoka is also just 6 months older than Embiid was at the time he was drafted.

For what its worth, I'm in town this weekend, staying at the Grand, and Azubuike is on the same floor as I am. The first time i saw him I thought "dude looks a lot leaner than his film". Saw him again this morning (guessing he is headed to practice) and made sure to really creep him out by scanning a grown man, head to toe, and dude is way leaner than his Kansas film from, what, 8-9 months ago. Anyway, thought i would share and looks like he is taking this serious.

Did you touch him?

What I first noticed is how good his hands were. The highlights of course only show the "highlights" but he seems to naturally catch anything thrown his way. I can't wait to see how Ingles can throw lobs to him.
