Airlines changing flights on you. Seems borderline illegal.

I booked a flight that was arriving in hawaii at 12:45pm. Then it's an hour drive to the hotel and check in is at 3. Perfect.

Now the airline sends me an email saying that my flight has been changed and I will now arrive in hawaii at 9:30pm. Then the hour drive and I don't get to the hotel until 10:30pm. I lose a whole freaking day in hawaii. How the **** is the airline allowed to do that? I wouldn't have booked that flight in the first place if that was the time of arrival.

That and they can bump you off a flight you have a ticket for because they overbook. I mean they usually ask for volunteers and compensate volunteers pretty well, but it's a thing they can do.

I rarely get very pissed about things and just kinda shrug stuff off and move on. This has me very upset. I'm losing out on over 10% of my vacation. Shouldn't the ****ers have to at least compensate me 10% of my fare? I mean what if tomorrow they change my flight to be leaving a day later than when I booked it? I can't do anything about it.
What if I was going on a cruise and the ship was debarking at 5pm? I would be ****ed.

My sister, who is also going to Hawaii with me on the same flights said that she looked at cancelling and re-booking an earlier arriving flight but all the prices went way up after the stimulus checks were known to be going out. Makes me think they only changed our flight hoping we would cancel and re-book at a higher rate so they get more money from us. My sister said it would cost her about 1,000 dollars more to re-book.
Again, this seems borderline illegal.

Anyone think it would do me any good to call and bitch? I never call and complain but I'm livid right now

All the "Jazz Newz" threads really **** up the search function pretty good. I'm looking for the awesome restaurants in Utah or whatever it's called thread and I get 5 pages of Deseret News articles in the search results. Lame.
 
UPS.COM Follow My Delivery.

First UPS gives you an expected delivery window if you log-in. The delivery window is complete garbage. They give themselves a 4 hour window but need at least a 6 hour window from my experience. Second, once logged in you can "follow my delivery." here you can enjoy watching the delivery truck get to about a block away from your house only to then go half way across town before slowly inching his way back to you so that you get your package about 2hrs after the delivery window.

Way more frustrating having a delivery window that means nothing and watching the driver almost make it to your house three times before going somewhere else than just knowing it'll be there whenever.

Here's what I mean. The truck is like literally about 100 yards away, so the "follow my delivery" says "almost there" but I know from experience, this delivery is a good hour and a half away. He's going to go several miles away from my house before he loops back.

My delivery window is from 12-4. It's 2:25 now. He will very likely not be here by 4pm.

The red vehicle is a guest visiting a neighbor. The driveway is mine. Seriously, what in the actual ****?!?!?! I mean if someone wants to turn it into a battle, I’ve got a 30’ RV I can park in front of their driveway.

Sex trafficking and massage parlors that are both victims to it and/or willing participants to make money.

With this week's news, I don't think anything more needs to be said. It kind of woke me up to those that I know who are regulars at getting massages. If I know them, you probably do too you just may not know their addiction.

People that sit in their cars doing, lord knows what, in parking lots.

Next time you're in a parking lot, observe how many people are just sitting in their cars with it running. It boggles my mind.

When my wife and I go somewhere and I park I'm probably out of the car and my door is closed within maybe 5 seconds. Then sometimes I'll be half a dozen steps on my way before I turn around and my wife isn't even out of the car yet. I'm like what are you waiting for? We're here, we're parked, next thing to do is get out and walk to wherever we're going. I don't get it.
