Jazz Offseason Plan

This signifies that DL is not serious about attaining NBA-level talent.
I mean, maybe? We don’t have to pull roster players from our summer league roster. But I don’t see how casting a bigger net could be anything but a good thing here? It’s double the chances to find another Royce. Unlikely, but if you don’t try you never know.

Remove Bridges or Washington and limit it to one pick and you will be in a range they might accept. We'd clear like $20M in cap too so that has to be factored in.

By all means ask for a home run but that is likely too much.
Maybe, but I was looking at the Vucevic deal as a comparison, and I consider Rudy a much more valuable asset than Vucevic. Orlando got 2 first rounders, OPJ and Wendell Carter Jr. for Vucevic.

- The 2 1st rounders are only top 4 protected. Charlotte's picks to us would be considered weaker than Chicago's were to Orlando.

- Rozier is definitely better than OPJ, but they are both expiring contracts. That takes a lot away from the value of Rozier.

- Bridges and Washington are solid young pieces, but nothing points to them being diamonds in the rough with loads of potential.

- We only save $10 million if it's Rudy ($35) for Rozier ($18), Washington ($4.2) and Bridges ($5.4)

It means they’re diverting more attention to this and can also fall back on this as an explanation of how hard they’re working to find the next Torrey Craig.

Rudy is a better player but comes with much more contract risk. To be fair to you though... I thought Orlando killed chicago in that deal... I would not expect another team to be that dumb but who knows.

I think Washington and Bridges have shown a bit more than Carter, but I think Carter still has some potential upside.

I do think you are dealing with the right team and looking at about what it would net. Not sure how many folks would go for it. Just thought it was skewed more towards us... when I talk trades I try to get a little less than I think we should... just so it limits my homerness a bit.
