Lockout!!!

And we cared so much about these selfish clowns. Screw `em all. I don`t even like my favorite player, Paul Millsap anymore. Screw `em all. Just as they screwed all the fans and all the `little` people who depend on the season. What a bunch of selfish idiots.

Lets brand the players (and maybe owners) terrorists for hurting the economy. Washboard `em.

You don't appreciate all the charity games the NBA players have been playing in?

Hard for me to believe that the players are going to go this rout with out letting all the players even have a vote. I'm sick right now.

With players decertifying what does this mean.for the season? Is there still a chance there will be a season or is there no hope?

Most likely, no season now. The only way we have a fraction of a season is if the owners suddenly decide to come drastically off of their current stance.

Too bad. Well, maybe a missed season will help the Jazz field a more competitive team with scabs!

It could be a last ditch effort to try and force a more fair deal from the owners?

Yes is could be. But at the same time they are take a whole seasons worth of earning and gambling it on that chance. Pretty high stake gamble is your not holding a pretty good hand. Which they aren't. Just seems to drastic IMO.

So long NBA. I doubt the league can recover from this. How ironic that it was Stern who marketed the players making the NBA and the players hugley succesful, now the players think it is all about them, and they are about to kill thier metaphorical father.

The players are about to recieve a good hard dose of reality. The fans don't like them. It goes back to Ron Artest charging into the stands to attack the patrons, it was cemented by the 'Decision'. Every player forcing a trade, or every speculation of Carmelo, or Dwill or Howard, or Paul jumping to a new team has added to the animosity. The fans will view the movement to decertify as another selfish move by spoiled players, and they will lose the remainder of RESPECT that the players claim they are seeking.

Time for Kanter to see if there are roster spots open somewhere in Europe (or even perhaps China) where he could get some PT. It would be horrible for him to sit out another year. Hopefully still have a opt out in the contract.

Okay, so NBA for a while it looks like. That sucks since the NBA is the only sport I follow. I don't find football interesting enough, and baseball puts me to sleep. Maybe I'll check out the NHL.

Is that CJ miles on the stand behind Ron Arest?

If so, can I just say--Dork, he should be glad to have a job, shut up and sign the deal already.

Can anyone fill me in or point me to a link on "now what" and the applicable US law regarding this. They file an antitrust lawsuit and what?? The court system does what? Forces owners to give up more money or mediate the process? What does the nuclear option give the players?
