I refuse to believe that Vrenz Bleijenbergh is in play for Utah in the first rd...

Simply put that just seems like some sucker **** that I aint buying....

cmon now... anyone who thinks that must not have a decent grasp on the talent level of the feild/pool

Just for curiosity's sake, looked at 25 mocks (some more reputable than others) updated within the past week. Between them, 16 different players were projected to be picked at #30 by the Jazz:

Thor (4 mocks)
Dosunmu (3)
Ayayi (2)
Todd (2)
Christopher (2)
Grimes (2)
Butler
Brown
Hyland
Mann
Murphy
Nix (hmmm ... wondering if this mocker was just trying to get a favorite prospect into round 1)
Preston
Primo
Robinson-Earl
Thomas

I think a mock or two have shown the Jazz taking McBride at #30. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's the pick.

If the Jazz buy a 2nd round pick here is a guy maybe worth taking a flier on. He played at Loyola Md and put up stats in the Patriot League: "Santi Aldama is one of the European prospects most talented of the generation, able to dominate in and out of the paint, face and back to the basket, extremely important aspects when it comes to aspiring to be an NBA player. A fair comparison with him could be Lauri Markkanen for that combination of talent for shooting and scoring from outside in as well as certain gaps in defense."

Vrenz may not be in play for the Jazz at #30. He's in play for other teams drafting in the 30s though.

Vrenz is probably a role player, but his ability to create in pick-and-roll at his size is pretty unique. He shouldn't be a defensive liability either. If things work out for him, he could play a role like Joe Ingles or Hedo Turkoglu, a complementary, play-making wing.

Yeah, I didn't look at all of the possible ones (such as the ones I don't subscribe to; I don't know what the Athletic, ESPN, or Chad Ford, for example say). And perhaps some of the mocks that once had him to Utah now don't?

But yeah, he's certainly in the mix if he's still there.

Green Room Invitees: Cunningham, Green, Mobley, Suggs, Kuminga, Barnes, Mitchell, Bouknight, Keon Johnson, Wagner, Giddey, Jalen Johnson, Kispert, Moody, Jones, Sengun, Thomas, Ziaire Williams, Duarte, Isaiah Jackson.

Not invited: Garuba, Murphy, Springer, Thor, Cooper, Mann, Butler, McBride, Christopher, Dosunmu, Primo, Todd

Garuba would be a steal outside the top 20, imo.
So, at least 3 of these names will be available for at #30. For me I'd probably hope Cooper isn't one of these available ones (since I don't think he matches the Jazz's style all that well).

If I had to predict, I would guess Christopher, Dosunmu, McBride and Todd are the ones available.

I have a feeling the Jazz have zeroed in one Grimes, Dosunmu, and McBride in that order. I feel like Grimes might be a riser and get picked before 30 (Bucks).

I do feel like we should look for youth in this draft. The way COVID affected the season, a lot of the freshmen may have underperformed, while upperclassmen overperformed. Could get some really good underclassmen fall in the draft and we could capitalize on that...

Garuba was not invited to the Green Room most likely because he's playing in the Olympics. He's still probably a top 20 pick.
