2021 Jazzfanz All Time Utah Jazz draft

Sort of a crime he hasn’t gone yet.

Ty Corbin.

Throw him at the 2 for me and Foye at the 1. Doesn’t matter because Joe will really be my backup point.

There have been no trades in this draft.

Just for fun, half my team is on the trade block.

Burks, Booker, Neto, Crowder and Rubio are all available. PM me with offers. We’ll see if anything sounds good.

Rich Kelley

Best jazz season
15pts. 12.8reb. 2 blocks.

Big men Spencer Haywood and Truck Robinson led the '78-79 Jazz in scoring that year and appeared in a combined seven All-Star Games during their careers. But it was the 7-foot and somewhat unheralded Rich Kelley who led the team in PER by a pretty healthy margin.

In just over 30 minutes a game, Kelley averaged 15.7 points, 12.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks during that campaign. It was a great close to a four-year stretch in which he was consistently dominant inside. From 1975 through '79, Kelley averaged 14.7 points and 13.6 rebounds per 36 minutes while posting a PER just under 19.

couldn’t find one highlight video of him in YouTube. Lol

Not a highlight tape, but it is interesting to watch. ESPN classic game between New Orleans and Detroit.

Pete Maravich, Gail Goodrich, Aaron James, Truck Robinson and Rich Kelley all play key roles.

I’ve been fielding a couple of trade offers. I’m going to take a little while to see if anything interesting comes my way and then I’ll decide to either make a deal or make my last pick.

After lots of internal debate and a couple of trade inquiries. . . Mr. Irrelevant is -

SG/SF: Aaron James
6’8” - 210 lbs
12.2 points per game
5.3 rebounds per game
1.4 assists per game

It makes my bench a bit smaller with Carroll at the 4 and Booker as a small ball 5, but I think both guys would be solid in those roles.

Mehmet Okur // Greg Ostertag
Al Jefferson // Antoine Carr
Gordon Giricek // Nate Williams
Jeff Hornacek // Ron Boone
John Stockton // Howard Eisley

Man, my team is low-key good. Like, except for Stockton, none of them jump out, but if you actually look at the fit, John passing to Money? That's worth 30 points a game right there, he and Horny obviously know eachother well, Giricek is a bomber himself, and Jefferson is like Malone with a soft touch. Meanwhile there are 2 beasts in the front court off the bench, a couple of great scorers who know their roles, and Stockton's best backup.

Gobert is obviously the best Center we've ever had, and Eaton is number 2, but Memo was #3, and Ostertag is probably 4.

I would think about bringing Jefferson off the bench. He is a known ball stopper and could ruin the offensive movement your team could have. I'm not sure if Carr would be a great fit in the starting lineup either, but he could be the guy to do all of the dirty work and go grab rebounds and protect the rim a little.
