Absolutely. I think most of us can agree with that. In fact, data shows that immigrants contribute net positive to our system. Many become hard workers, farmers, business owners, writers, teachers, and doctors. They may need some help getting started in a new country and culture but with time immigrants make America what it is today. It’s sad that for four years immigrants were demonized and ridiculed the way they were. If Stephen Miller had his way, these folks would be stuck in Afghanistan.

Thriller unsurprisingly must not have read the most recent peer reviewed study that unless mask are n95 or better they are worthless. Mask Nazis are dumb people.

If such a study exists, and you have not misread it, it is outweighed by the hundreds of studies on mask efficiency.

Personally, I prefer to concentrate on observational science that makes use of real control groups. If a study makes use of virtual control groups, laboratory experiments, or computer models as its evidentiary basis then I view it as lower tier information. There is strong support for vaccines. There is strong support for being outdoors as much as possible. There is strong support for MERV-13 filtration combined with 6 room air exchanges per hour. There is strong support for N95/KN95 masks when worn properly and especially when combined with face shields. There is weak support for cloth masks and there is garbage support for governmental mask mandates.

Uh, okay. That has nothing to do with the fact that the teachers union for my kid's school district opposed it and that opposition is codified in the agreement struck between the union and the district.

I read more than the summary. Find the margin of error on that 37% and you'll find what I said is 100% true.

Also, 37% efficacy is garbage. Even the Chinese vaccines are better than that.
