Protestors storm capital

Best of luck in their future endeavors….

The judge stated:

“The attorneys who filed the instant lawsuit abused the well-established rules applicable to the litigation process by proffering claims not backed by law; proffering claims not backed by evidence (but instead, speculation, conjecture, and unwarranted suspicion); proffering factual allegations and claims without engaging in the required prefiling inquiry; and dragging out these proceedings even after they acknowledged that it was too late to attain the relief sought," she wrote. "And this case was never about fraud -- it was about undermining the People's faith in our democracy and debasing the judicial process to do so."

She further said that Wood and Powell's actions warrant "a referral for investigation and possible suspension or disbarment to the appropriate disciplinary authority for every state bar and federal court in which each attorney is admitted."

These idiots were used by Trump until even he realized they were hurting him and quickly jettisoned them and made them orphans.

Complete laughing stocks and deserve every bad thing coming to them.

I’m really glad we didn’t elect Hunter Biden as president. We really dodged a bullet there. Joe Biden is a lot better president. So glad he sent Donald packing his bags. I just read that the infrastructure deal providing trillions of funding has been reached! Awesome! That’s really going to help our country! I love America! I’m glad we’re investing into our aging infrastructure! America First!

Why didn’t Donald do anything like that during his presidency?
He was too busy on twitter and too busy playing golf and campaigning.

Really? One of the main leaders and he is only charged for Obstruction?! I thought this was an insurrection that was the worst thing since the civil war but nobody is being charged for anything major...

Jacob Anthony Chansley, perhaps best known by the moniker “QAnon Shaman” after storming the U.S. Capitol on January 6, pleaded guilty on Friday to a federal charge of felony obstruction of an official proceeding.

Are you unfamiliar with this type of plea bargaining?
Yeah usually you charge someone with a higher crime then lessen the charges via a plea. That's not the case here so what's your point?

Not one insurrection charge yet.

Edit: I'm wrong for once he was charged with multiple charges but this is all he got. For as bad as you all tried to make this an Obstruction charge is all a leader and front man got? I'f he was a threat to the fabric of America like drama *** Democrats claim he'd be in jail for a lot longer than a few years...if that.

Such a terrorist... most definitely a an absolute *******, don't get me wrong but you all are so dramatic.

Chansley is set to be sentenced November 17 and his conviction carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison -- although another Capitol rioter who pleaded guilty to the same felony charge last month was only sentenced to eight months.

Read my post again.

Among others:
Assaulting, Resisting or Impeding Certain Officers
Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers Using a Dangerous Weapon
Engaging in Physical Violence in a Restricted Building with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon
Possession of a Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device
Act of Physical Violence on Grounds
Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds
Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds and Carrying a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon

That's an incomplete list of the charge violence and gun possession, and only through the "A"s.

Seems pretty mellow compared to an insurrection where armed people take over city blocks killing 3 teenagers or a BLM rally where 8 year olds get murdered (you called collateral damage). Again these people are absolute idiots but the childish drama is hard to take serious.

This type of stuff happened for months upon months upon months.

Seems pretty mellow ...
Good backtracking. I suppose it would seem mellow, except for the part where it was designed to interrupt the election of the President, which was not true of any of the summer of 2020 protests.

a BLM rally where 8 year olds get murdered
There was no BLM rally where a person was murdered.

(you called collateral damage).
I've run a couple of searches for such a post, and didn't find it. As I've said before, this doesn't sound like me. Why should I believe this is true?

Again these people are absolute idiots but the childish drama is hard to take serious.
The police who were attacked think otherwise.

This type of stuff happened for months upon months upon months.
Does this justify the Jan. 6 insurrection, or are you just using a logical fallacy?

"He was out there peacefully protesting," attorney Jackie Patterson said. "He doesn't know the people who did the shooting. He just witnessed it."

(CNN)A Georgia grand jury has indicted one man for murder and another on related charges in the shooting death of an 8-year-old Atlanta girl during a protest last year, according to prosecutors.

Secoriea Turner was riding in a vehicle with her mother and a friend on July 4, 2020, when she was shot as demonstrations unfolded over the killing of a Black man by a White Atlanta police officer.

The driver had sought to turn around near a Wendy's in south Atlanta where members of the Bloods gang had erected a barricade, Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis said Friday at a news conference.
