I’m not certain about Hield but they were blowing a lot of PR smoke ********. They claimed they were choosing between Beal and Lillard and Westbrook but favored Westbrook because some dumbass “dynamic” or “playmaker” reason. Obviously neither of those two were on the table because nobody in the league would take Westbrook over those two. Unless the Lakers are complete morons, which could be the case.

They took Westbrook because the other two players demand more assets than Westbrook. Washington was dying to get rid of him. They are 2-0 and play more as a team. I know it is two games but all the media sucking up to the Lakers and predicting them as the Favorites. They could win one but it isn't a given and I think the chances it implodes and they finish middle of the pack. AD and Lebron cannot play 36 plus minutes a night or they will break down before the season ends. The Lakers just thought they could put together a team with past all-stars and win a championship. Problem is that all their former All-stars are shells of the players they use to be.

Hollie brought it up tonight and said that the Lakers were closing in on a deal for Hield u til they got westbrook instead. What a dumbass move. The lakers don’t have any shooters right now.

The lakers desperately need shooters. Unless they get some silly assist from the logo who used to work in the grizz front office, I see them finishing in the middle of the west. I fear a healthy Warriors team, clippers, suns, healthy denver much more. Hell, I don’t want anything to do with the grizz. Lakers look like a slow team from a previous decade. Just no shooting whatsoever.

Whiteside has looked good imo. Especially offensively, where he’s making people pay inside. Love his hands. Favors lost his explosion and couldn’t finish inside. Whiteside still can. I’d love to see more Forrest/Butler. No more Oni tbh

I was watching Kings feed, never seen a more unprofessional, impartial and knowledge limited crew.

Ya I was watching the kings stream too until the beginning of the 4th quarter when I found a jazz stream. Jazz announcers were so much better.

Am I alone in my concern of seeing our opponent kill us with their midrange game while our 3-4 position seemed slow? I hope Gay gives us help but I had some flashbacks in that 2nd 3rd quarter to that final game against the Clippers. I really wished we drafted Jaden McDaniels instead of Doka.
