Correct, sorry. Trent is much better.I'd bet Trent Forrest is a better defender. Mitchell wouldn't surprise me since he doesn't play that hard on defense.
efg% difference
Forrest -10.4
Conley -2.1
O'Neal 0.3
Donovan 7.2

Who is Johnson and for god sake I’d rather develop both Hughes and Oni then trade for Dunn. What’s the point? He’s not seeing time in this rotation. Here's the trade:
Move Hughes and Udoka anywhere and for anything (besides salary).
Sign Dunn. Sign Johnson.
Waive Oni.
You've now made some shrewd and underrated basketball moves and you've also made some really good financial decisions.
Then watch Quin not use either guy and we flame out in the same fashion. At least your tax bill is lower.
Hughes and Oni are both ded that's why.Who is Johnson and for god sake I’d rather develop both Hughes and Oni then trade for Dunn. What’s the point? He’s not seeing time in this rotation.
Very true.Which is sad commentary on all of our other guards, tbh.
Brogdon is regarded as a good defender probably because of his Bucks years and he has good size but when I watched Indy last season, he was atrocious. He would clearly make us worse defensively. Conley's size doesn't help him but at least he stays front and knows where to be.The defensive weak link in our starting guard rotation is not Mike Conley. I guess it could be argued that because Donovan is such a poor defender we need someone who is capable of making up the difference. That guy certainly isn't Brogdon who is probably a worse defender than Conley.
If we are going to be a significantly better team defensively, then Donovan has to step up.
The fact that Dunn hasn’t been signed in this massive rash of signings is starting to be a pretty clear signal, imoHere's the trade:

I will go down with the ship. The fact that Dunn hasn’t been signed in this massive rash of signings is starting to be a pretty clear signal, imo
This is why you put 3 good perimeter defenders around Rudy and Don. And no, I don't believe Mike Conley is a good perimeter defender come playoff time.Correct, sorry. Trent is much better.

Aminu just got a 10 day so who knows… I’d have thought he’d come off the board earlier too.I will go down with the ship.
