Buyout speculation thread

For any discussion of people potentially being bought out. First person who comes to mind for me is Thad Young, who’s in his final year and apparently not happy in SA.

Thad Young would be great. He does have ties to Utah IIRC, but we don't have much of a role for him.

Satoransky will probably be bought out. I refuse to believe he suddenly turned garbage and am blaming everything on NOP. Would be a good pickup especially if we're able to pull off the elusive 2 for 1 trade.

I don't think there will be many buyout guys with teams needing all hands on deck... unless they take a decent paycut.

Gary Harris - not super likely as they like his leadership.

Maybe Josh Jackson or Rodney McGruder.... just looking for *** teams with expiring deals.

I think Thad will be traded for a second rounder somewhere.... thats what a normal team would do... but the Spurs are weird so they may just buy him out and let him go where he wants. He's a guy that fits the small ball 5 mode... gets tons of deflections and is great passer out of the pick and roll. I think because of Hassan he would have a hard time finding a role here and would likely have his choice of any contender he wants. I've long been a fan.

If Gary Harris was bought out I'd love to have him.
