Nah he’s definitely a loser.I throughly enjoy watching spida’s contributions on and off the court. He and Rudy have been the best players this franchise have had since the statues. He’s anything but a loser.
I guess we could go back to the Ty Corbin and Al Jefferson era. That was so fun…
I can blame him for being a petty, narcissistic douche at heart. You really have to hope there is enough communication between the organization and Mitchell's representation to know if there is any traction with all this chatter. If so, move him in the off season and get a decent return. My gut feeling is that the speculation is correct and you can't really blame Donovan for wanting to cash in on his abilities. No matter how much anyone wants it to be different, bigger markets are more profitable to the stars. I think loyalty is a nice concept, but with the egos of professional athletes, and team owners for that matter, loyalty doesn't mean squat.
His character (when not hiding behind his public PR curtain) is trash, so I’m okay with it.I've never been under the impression that Mitchell will stay. Having said that, the obsession with attacking Mitchell's character for inevitably wanting to play somewhere is psychotic.
Thank you! It's amazing how progressively dumb your threads keep getting. It almost feels like a talent.
It was actually Tim MacMahon who brought it up, and he is on local radio here every week. You guys realize this is all Brian Windhorst does right? When he says "there is speculation around the league" it is him speculating. He does this with literally every player. He was doing it with Giannis LAST YEAR, even after he had signed the max. Maybe Mitchell will stay and maybe he will leave--I know Windhorst doesn't know anything either way. I doubt Mitchell himself had decided. But he seems locked in and really invested in this team, so let's trust that. Don't let ESPN rile you up. They need content. What people like to hear about, or what ESPN thinks people want to hear about, is star players forcing a trade to big franchises. They're already starting to do it with Luka too if you watch the clip. By next season windhorst will be saying there's speculation that Luka wants to go to the Lakers to play with James.
It’s funny, and Donovan is for sure someone narcissistic and petty enough to care about fan voting for the all star game lol.I thought it was pretty funny Gobert had more all star votes than Mitchell. He had to feel some way about that. Gobert is one of the most hated players in the NBA by fans.
All the stories are a spin off of what Tim MacMahon said to Windhorst during a podcast. They were talking about Luka and how long he’d be in Dallas. MacMahon said “it’s a bit of a different situation in SLC, where there is some, I’m going to say speculation around the league that Donovan Mitchell wants a bigger market”. Windhorst then adds in the All Star voting thing. MacMahon has a local spot on ESPN700 every week with Checketts. He does cover the Jazz for ESPN. He did the whole make up story thing about Mitchell and Gobert, and did a one on one interview with Rudy during it.The latest "article" I read said that they speculated Donovan wants to be in a bigger market since he didn't rate very high in all-start voting. Of course the article was by a beat-writer in Miami. No direct quotes of anyone, just saying, hey, you know, he'll get more votes in Miami so he'd probably like that better. Donovan to demand trade soon!

Or just real. He sucks. You need counseling. This is not healthy.
Yes. Donovan just sucks. You are not suffering from some sort of mental health issue.Or just real. He sucks.
