Not every day you shoot eight percentage points better than your opponent and can still manage to likely lose.

Our perimeter defense is so awful.

Remember perimeter defense is not part of the process. We've had 3 years to do something about that and we never do, so it obviously doesn't matter. In 2 or 3 games the rockets will have a bad shooting night that will balance it all out. It's fine. No need to actually do anything about it tonight, the law of averages is our only law. It fixes all.

Conley needs to be extremely aggressive down the stretch...he's only taken 7 shots so far.

He has been great defensively. Stopped almost every penetration attempt by KPJ and Green when he was on them. Also kinda the only player who can pick them up full-court.

Listen at this point I'd rather the jazz just start hoisting threes than whatever this guard dribble-penetration-turnover first system we have this year.

Melting down at the end of the year and dropping out of HCA position? Quin. Drop 3-1 series lead? Quin. Lose 2-0 lead and lose 4 straight? Quin. Drop 23 point lead? Quin. Not win an overtime game in over 4 years? Quin.

Oh yeah. This track record is just bad luck.

I always bitched that Sloan vs. DWill was such a ******** dichotomy and the real issue was Greg and KOC. Rudy vs. Donovan is the same ********. It’s really DL and Quin.
