Is Earl Watson really OK as b/u to Devin Harris?

Earl runs the offense better than Harris. Better than any other PG on the team. He won't take over a game and win it for you (maybe that's what people have against him) - but he won't lose it for you either. He's a game manager, and one of the best in the league.

He's a fantastic backup (best backup the jazz have ever had?) and a decent starter. Jazz need to retain him, and either trade Harris for a replacement (?) or draft one (Marshall).

THIS! Our team is loaded with raw talent and potential. What we really need is knowledge and experience to go with that. Harris and Watson both bring that. Young guys can learn a lot from them. I think we need to go after a young PG to add to Harris and Watson and let him learn from them for the next 2-3 years.

So Ronnie has the athletic ability to cover up for turning the ball over in the 2nd video. Solution don't turn the ball over- you are multi-year vet. In the 3rd video one of the guards needs to be responsible to players leaking out.

Pretty sure Dwill, Harris, and Watson would have given up on that play. He is a tempo changer he brings attitude. I think Ronnie and Burk coming could play some ball hawking defense they could press the ball up the court and cause a bunch of TOs. Seriously if Hayward did half the thing Price did for our team you would be screaming for him to be an all-star.

That Luke Walton block is still my favorite block of all time. Walton is so freaking so slow.

So Price has the one thing the other 3 doesn't...flat out speed to catch up to someone at the rim. That is the only reason the others would have given up on the play is if they physically simply could not catch up. Don't try to pretend that Price is the only player in the world that cares about the game or the team or the play.

They wouldn't sacrifice looking stupid to try and stop the score by the opposite team. When everyone flat out quite during the Lakers game when we were down Millsap and Price brought the Jazz back in that game 5.

If I ever see Price in a Jazz uniform again it will be too soon. I don't want him back in any way shape or form. He could volunteer to play for free and I would be against the Jazz accepting him.

People seem to have a personal problem with Ronnie Price and I can not think of any player in Jazz history where that would be more misplaced.

Being the 13th guy on the roster means you don't play much. Calm down.

We have to sign someone???? My vote would be to get Earl back. Jazz are notorious for bringing in 2 PGs under the Sloan regime. Will be interested in how Coach Ty sorts things out.

I have nothing agianst him personnally. The problem is as the 11th-12th guy off of the bench he did get minute for us and he is absolutely terrible. Great he hustles on defense. He makes up for that by being an absolute liability on offense.

Complete liability? He's not great at creating but he was one of the primary reasons the weird 2nd unit was so good last year. He can finish and get to the line, isn't the worst shooter on earth, and isn't a complete ballhog. Also the most athletic player the Jazz had since... I don't know... prime-AK or David Benoit until the Jazz got Evans.

For a guy that brings all of that, that is just fine as a 5th guard.
