I agree. It's generally better not to tell jokes making fun of people not like you, because you never know what the reason is. If Chris Rock also had alopecia, the whole context changes.

After my 2nd chemo treatment I ran into a friend from college I hadn't seen in a while. At that point I had just lost all my hair, having shaved off the remnants not long before. He came up to me and greeted me and said something like, hey digging the bald head, how's the chemo going? Then he chuckled. He did not know I had cancer at the time, just joking around. I found it funny. He was so apologetic when I told him he was right, and that chemo was rough. It didn't bother me but, gave me a much-needed chuckle at a difficult point in my life in fact, but I could see how it could bother someone.

Oh holy Christ, people need to get the **** over it. He’s a comedian. This is what comedian’s do. Tell jokes that offend people. Oh and by the way, she’s had her head bald off and on for years and it never seemed to bother her.
