it seems like things are moving quickly. Listening to Ainge he made it pretty clear they don't want to crap on Spida but he also made it clear that he and his people aren't running things either.
I think if Alex was the apple of their eye he would already be named HC by now. It's weird that they are interested in a Phoenix assistant supposedly because he and Ainge went to the same Ward. There is another Phoenix assistant who is a two time GLeague coach of the year and crickets.I just hope this decision doesn’t hinge on either Mitchell’s final approval or, either alternately or commensurately, skin color. If in fact we are determined to take the Darvin Hamm route and go with youth and enthusiasm over experience, I think Alex Jensen is the most deserving candidate.
Good point Homey. Ryan Smith and his damn Mormon pipeline (Holly Rowe now moonlighting at ESPN). I don’t know which is worse, racial or religious discrimination.I think if Alex was the apple of their eye he would already be named HC by now. Idiot!!We should seriously consider D’Antoni. He would elevate both Mitchell and Gobert.
Justa bunch of speculation like most of it is.I'm still hoping this ASG narrative is just a smokescreen.
Exactly what I have thought. Don ain't running the show guys.it seems like things are moving quickly. Listening to Ainge he made it pretty clear they don't want to crap on Spida but he also made it clear that he and his people aren't running things either.
He played with us the entire season. We only had him on a vet minimum.I remember that incident, I believe they got rid of him shortly thereafter. Since all are no longer associated with the Jazz, do you think they would welcome him back?
Mike D'Antoni is 71 years old. Hard pass.Idiot!!
It is an intriguing proposition no doubt. My only concern is Vogel’s current mental state. If anybody should have a year off to recuperate it’s probably Vogel IMO.I'm kinda leaning towards Frank The Bank. He's handled egos. He's handled chaos. He's handled primadonna superstars. Russ is 20x the primadonna Don is, and he had the balls to cut his minutes.
Oh, and he's got a ring. He also had LeBron, but I'm under the impression Frank and LeBron are buddies.
Yeah being LeBron and the Lakers HC has to carry a massive weight. It is an intriguing proposition no doubt. My only concern is Vogel’s current mental state. If anybody should have a year off to recuperate it’s probably Vogel IMO.
