I mean I would pur Mitchell squarely on the Deron Wiiams level.

Im very very impressed that an unmotivated dude can put up 17 and 10 on 64%, 37%, and 75% shooting at just 23 years old. (And those numbers are in less than 30 minutes per game)
Imagine what he could do if a coach could squeeze the effort out of him or if he simply needs a bit of maturation.

Its a risk no doubt but if he were highly motivated already we would have no shot in hell at acquiring him.

The biggest danger is that there might be a Chris Paul effect just like when players left the John Stockton Jazz. How many players left those teams and showed better?

Ayton was 18/10 without Paul. He will be just fine.
