Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

He's one of those guys that some people will debate he's a top 15 talent of all time while others will argue he wasn't even top 30. Truly polarizing character with no character.

Its sad too because durant is close to the perfect basketball player physically and skill wise. If i was creating the perfect player he would be between 6 foot 9 and 6 foot 11 who could shoot, handle, and defend. If KD was a little heavier he would be perfect. I mean lebron IS the perfect player but KD is close. The Brow and kevin garnett are also right there. KG needed better handles though.
Durants character ruins all his physical tools and amazing skillset.

If he isn’t traded, he and Butler are the players I will have irrationally high hopes for next season. Experience tells me it will end in disappointment, but I’ll get it right one day. I believe he has the tools to be an effective role player if he isn’t asked to do too much. If he can do it against the Virgin Islands, home of Tim Duncan, he can do it against the Warriors.

Lol

It's pretty obvious the Jazz are Setting a tank up when they don't make those moves that Brooklyn just did. If we were actually trying to put a competitive roster together we'd be giving out those kinds of deals to flyers to see if anyone sticks

You barely beat me to it.

One nice thing about lebron (i know we arent supposed to say positive things about lebron for some strange reason as it will trigger everyone) is that he always honored his contracts and never demanded to be traded.

Yeah, cuz he’s a walking ticket to at least the second round. Which demonstrates the gap between him and any of these other turds.

I have never heard of that player. Is he good?

He's the Pacers' journeyman that destroyed the Jazz 2020-21 season by (inadvertantly) messing up Donovan's ankle when diving for a loose ball. (I exaggerate only a bit: DM never fully recovered. The trainer fiasco ensued. DM was a defensive sieve against the Clips. Etc.)

Kyrie is the first shoe that has to drop:

Lakers get Kyrie and Rudy Gay
Nets get Conley and Clarkson
Jazz get Westbrook and a 1st round pick

It's not sexy, but it does save us $30 million for next summer. And adds a 1st. I don't think we have to waive Westbrook either. Maybe we rehab his image a bit as the 6th man until the trade deadline. Or we just agree to a buyout where he takes less money like John Wall did. But $30 million for next summer and another 1st is big.

Doesn't really make much sense for the Nets imo.

All things being equal I'd rather hold onto Clarkson as well, he's a fun guy to have around and a good player to boot.

Yeah. Every time I put Clarkson in a deal, it puts a bad taste in my mouth.
