Woj says the Jazz are listening to offers for Mitchell

For me it is Quickley + Grimes + picks. Then you trade Clarkson because he and Quickley are redundant.

Knicks fans will also melt when the deal comes in at twice as much as they think it will... I have seen Heat fans say they should get him without Herro... Knicks fans are like "I'd give the protected picks and Julius Randle but that's it". Its all pretty funny.

I’ve also seen the opposite side of it where Knicks fans say they will literally give us 8 1sts and 3 pick swaps if they can keep Barrett lol.

Would also be funny if the Knicks wanted to keep Quickley because he’s good friends with Donovan.

Then they literally end up giving us Toppin and all of their 8 1sts and 3 pick swaps.

Yes, we gave up our entire draft future but we kept Barrett and Quickley!!!

I think you ship out JC and Conley if you can for something decent. Ideally you are playing Quickley as a point guard... that is where he has the highest upside. Not a traditional pg at all but a homeless methhead version of Steph Curry type of pg. Toppin would be fun... I think Grimes would be a guy we could let them keep (although I like him) to get all the picks.

I have no idea how they get Quickley on the court with those two on the roster... will need a new coach for sure.

Like @KqWIN has stated... Quickley and Toppin might be the better pieces to steal from NY. They can keep RJ and substitute in those two plus an extra unprotected pick and I'd be happy. I also see that as more palatable to them.

Starting next year the Knicks would be capped out with some minor draft assets left to move stuff around. Its a lot of tinder for a fire.

Reports already coming out that RJ is "untouchable". It's probably just posturing, but I sure hope that's the case. If NYK can't lose Barrett just like MIN couldn't lose McDaniels, I'd be more than happy to take up that value in other ways.

The funniest thing with those "RJ Barrett is untouchable" leaks is that the Knicks and him are reportedly far away on contract extension negotiations. In other words - he's so amazing and untouchable that we won't even give him the max. Hell we won't even come close to it in our offer. Make of it what you will...

I'd take it. Simmons means nothing to me but that pick haul is something. I'm also not convinced that PHX is set up for long-term health with an aging Paul.

I'd flip Ben for whatever I could and if not, I'd have to four shooters around him where he does nothing but facilitate.
And KD.

But Ben is a rough guy to take back right now. He's risky but there is upside he comes in and plays well... you'd likely be looking to flip him at some point. I would throw up a little though.
