I don't understand why the Jazz would care about keeping Clarkson just because he's taken to Utah....Rudy, Ingles and Favors all absolutely loved Utah and wanted to retire here, and the Jazz had no problem whatsoever trading those guys, hell they even traded Favors twice. Rubio loved it here and became a huge fan favorite, and they shipped him off. If you can flip JC for an asset, then do it.

Haliburton/Mathurin/Duarte are solid building blocks. Cy mentioned this a couple weeks ago about moving Turner for a young PF to open up space for Bitadze while having a PF for the future.
