Like someone pointed out earlier, the NBA is like 20% white (and that might be overstating it), so yes, it's pretty remarkable.

I do think it is kind of a strange , and really pretty narrow minded take by the OP though, to assume it was Ainge's complete and absolute only intent to seek out marketable players for a predominantly caucasian fanbase.

The only signing that would make this thread a serious reflection on the role of race/culture would be if we signed Jimmer, and that hasnt happened thankfully.

That is exactly what I got from your first post in this thread. That somehow Ainge targetted White dudes to play for us because they were white. I don't see it, has nothing to do with insecurity smh

I have to say I do truly appreciate this forum for its diversity of thought and opinion. Based on what? What's the mean number of white people in of trading sessions of this magnitude? What's the standard deviation?
