Jazz Media / Content Day

China is not the place to go if you want back in the NBA. Nothing you do over there will be seen as beneficial for your game and you wont improve if your long-term goal is the NBA.
If the alternative is about quitting basketball, it's all about teh monies. Even if he doesn't want to play basketball, the money will dry up... and you won't like what you've gotta do for money more than you liked basketball.

What? He's made $4M. Got to Europe for a few years and make another couple million. The sun only shines for a brief period of time. Gotta go make the money.
He'll be wrinkling and hurting himself getting out of bed before he knows it. One reason the youths aren't respected is because they take their youth and all of its benefits for granted.

If you want to get paid and play in sold-out arenas? Go to China. You arent coming back to the NBA from there though.
right but the money is great and the season ends in time to catch an NBA deal. Tell teams you'll be back and when someone gets hurt you get a chance.

Or maybe just go play cartoon basketball for 5 years then enter the rest of your life. Just weird to think about giving up that easy.

I mean, a China job is harder to get because of their foreign player rules than getting on with a Euro-League team. If you played well in the Euro-League NBA teams will be interested. EP would have a ton of options.

Like I'm sure he wouldnt actually give up. He was probably being overly dramatic and just communicating how hopeless he felt about his NBA future.

He was a fringe rotation player last year... just hang in there Eric teams will call but you ain't priority 1... at very least wait until Don gets moved then sign on the homie deal... or convince NY you can recruit Don in FA so they should give you a deal.

I think he does because how random of him to mention the win total of 24.5 after it’s been mentioned multiple times on here the last couple of days.
Ahhhh... it was part of an ad read for bet online.... should have thrown that out there.

It's also gambling. IT's a thing discussed everywhere, not exclusively on JFC.

I would say he reads JFC because we are the only long-form discussion area for Jazz basketball other than Reddit or RealGM.

Locke doesn't talk gambling a lot though... and the mention was in an ad read. He's not big on gambling... I can tell by the way he gave some odds the other day and said the clips are 1000 to 1 to make the finals or win the title or something. Said the other odds like that as well... when it was clearly supposed to be +1000.

Don't know or care if he reads the stuff here. I'm sure he has perused the site.

He talks about Gambling because there is a "Locked On" podcast dedicated specifically to gambling. He doesnt get into it himself, but he references odds lines all the time.

I don't know if Locke reads here (historically). Obviously he's come across it, but I think if you're zooming out, there have been numerous issues (not with Locke, but with a lot of people) where JFC may hammer on a certain issue that squashes certain possibilities, but other people keep talking about them (hence not reading here). For instance, Boler and the whole skip pass thing. But I've certainly seen things that have originated as JFC discussions that then branch out and end up being talked about by other more known individuals as being original things, because nobody wants to admit that some of their discussion points and ideas may have originated or had their impetus from randos on JFC.

Come to think of it the other day Locke said something about @Hearsky ’s mom… so either he listens or just hangs out behind 7/11 a lot.

Honestly if Locke did read the site his fake trades would be like 100 times better than when he attempts it. I don’t think he reads a ton.

"Locked on Hearsky's Mom" is my first listen of every day
