More Republicans try and kill Democrats

There are many, many people out there with trouble dealing with anger productively. If one feeds their worst impulses, one deserves to be criticized for it. We also have an obvious contrast, Sen. McConnell. I consider him to be primarily interested in gaining power and tax cuts. I dislike him thoroughly, and I'd guess The Thriller feels the same way. However, you see very few posts by The Thriller attacking McConnell, because for all we dislike of him, he's not a person who fans hatred. He doesn't accuse teachers of being groomers or talk about the government being close to seizing guns. While you think on comparisons of The Thriller and Scalise's shooter, think also on that contrast.
I really like this part of your post.
McConnel is a normal human politician.

Trump, MTG, boebart, Hershel walker, etc are not normal politicians. They fuel hate and anger as much as they possibly can.

Is Bolsonaro going to concede, or start his own Big Lie? My step-brother lives in Sao Paolo, so this actually affects my family.

While The Thriller is occasionally callous, I don't recall reading one of his posts where he endorsed revolution or violence as the solution.
The guy wished to have the power of Thanos to end the lives of everyone in the GOP and the roughly 45% of American voters who supported Trump in the last election.

It’s the GOP that I despise. It’s Trumpers who I wish could be snapped out of existence. They truly have nothing to offer

Trump Jr think the attack on Paul Pelosi was pretty comical.

On Sunday, Elon Musk drew fire for also posting a reference to the conspiracy theory about the Paul Pelosi attack. Hours later, without explanation, he deleted it.
The story Musk pointed to was from the Santa Monica Observer, which Mediabiasfactcheck.com calls “an imposter website that is designed to look like an authentic local news source” but “favors the Republican party”.
Roger Stone and Dinesh D’Souza were among other pro-Trump figures to post conspiracy theories and misinformation about the Pelosi attack.
Carl Cameron, a former Fox News correspondent, told the Washington Post the aim was to create “a dystopia wherein lying and physical violence become part of our politics”.

Which is no worse that the dialogue I've read from you. I am no more concerned about you than The Thriller.

@Archie Moses

At some point in this process you have to ask yourself if you're the bad guy and in this instance your contribution to this topic put you firmly in either the I'm the bad guy camp or in the I'm a dupe camp. Either way, not a good look.

Federal charges filed.

“During an interview police conducted on the day of the attack, DePape said, "He was going to hold Nancy hostage and talk to her."

"If Nancy were to tell DePape the 'truth,' he would let her go, and if she 'lied,' he was going to break 'her kneecaps'" investigators said in the complaint.

The suspect also told investigators that "by breaking Nancy's kneecaps, she would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions."

The complaint said DePape told police that "he wanted to use Nancy to lure another individual" to him, but the complaint didn't identify that person.

So to all the misinformation mules, charges have been filed. Things like the 9-11 call, his interrogation, everything else becomes a matter of public record. If he was a grindr date gone wrong that info should be part of discovery and available to the public. So anyone who wants to make nasty ****ing jokes about an attempted murder please get the information that supports your thrown together conspiracy deflections that allow you and your dupes to remain in their fantasy land bubble.

Search all you want but you will not find any post where I have wished to end the lives of anyone. I don't even wish that on criminals.

I am opposed to capitol punishment even for serial killers.

The Thriller wishes that on Americans who have done nothing more than having an opinion he disagrees with.

The results of the policies you have supported result in the same thing. You want people to die rather than live in a fashion you oppose.

I'll worry when he accesses an Infinity Stone and I have some evidence of his anger issues.

LOL THANOS?! Like the movie?!

I’m sorry you’re taking the plot to The Avengers too seriously.

It’s interesting how I’ve become the focus over the last few pages from the same handful of lame disinformation right wingers on this site. They’ve defended their party and their leader so much that it’s just a sunk cost now. They can’t back out now, after 5+ years of defending garbage. Access Hollywood, Gold Star Families, Charlottesville, Stormy, the Trump Tower meeting with Russians, the horrible tax cuts, kids in cages, Covid 19 response, Zelensky blackmail, great replacement, Jan 6, the Big Lie, Kanye, etc. Admitting they were wrong now would be denying their own identity.

They know that this attack on Pelosi was indefensible. They also can’t play the “whatabout” game because there isn’t any comparison on the left. So they go with the last resort of attempting to deflect from their own consciences by trying to shift the focus onto the poster they hate. Sadly but unsurprisingly, this tells us a lot more about them than anything else. They’d rather lash out at the poster who was right all along about Trump and Trumpism than admit that they’ve even taken for a ride for years. A terrific lesson on sunk-cost fallacy.

Specifically, what/who influenced him to shoot people.
Left wing extreme media, how ever he received it, to shoot people at ball park at Republicans. I could ask the same for you, who influenced the Pelosi attacker? Specifically who? I can answer that, right wing extreme media.

The shooter was obviously influenced by his parents, friends, teachers, etc. One of the most common indicators of these shooters in being the victim of or perpetrator of domestic violence, as Scalise's shooter had.
So because you are a victim or perpetrator of domestic violence, you are influenced to shoot republicans?

I am not aware that The Thriller has a history of domestic violence. I find it unlikely he's going to go out and shoot anyone. I would also say that about you, @silesian , @RandyForRubio , and a whole host of other conservative JazzFanzers (five more off the top of my head, too many to list).
Did the Las Vegas shooter have a history of domestic violence? Nope, closest history is he yelled at his partner. I know there is a link between domestic abuse and shootings, but that is not all the time. I don't see the extremist posts coming from Fish, LG, Gameface, AL, You, Red. You all post with decency.
While The Thriller is occasionally callous, I don't recall reading one of his posts where he endorsed revolution or violence as the solution. Admittedly, being more liberal, I am perhaps too much in agreement about some of what he says to see signs that you are seeing. I'm not quite sure if you are saying The Thriller is being hypocritical (to some degree, perhaps, but he also points out a very real difference), or if you think he is a danger.
I literally posted a Thriller post calling for removing all Trumpers. That is violence. He has a history of posting that an unvaccinated should not be aloud in hospital beds, they should be only available for vaccinated. So killing off people, even though not all unvaccinated people are republicans, and that vaccinated people can still spread it. He calls the right: woefully and willfully ignorant and/or suffering from a severe character or anti-social flaws, lowlife, racists, **** wads, unbelievably stupid, crappy person, ****** person, delusional, simplistic misogynistic douchebags, biggest dumbasses, etc.

He is exactly like who he hates. Trump. He rips everyone who is not on his side. He is an extremist. He is a far left extremist and he has a posting history of being one.

Shooters don't have to be extremist, only very angry and not able to deal with that anger well. I think it's easier to feed the anger of an extremist, because so little of the world resembles what they want, but it's that inability that makes them shooters. I also think that feeding that anger is what makes otherwise-unrelated speakers culpable in the actions of the shooter. Do you rile them up without talking them down? Take that guy outside Kavanaugh's house. If Democratic leaders were talking about using 2nd Amendment solutions to the conservative majority of SCOTUS, he could very well have perpetrated a tragedy instead of turning himself in.
The thriller is very angry; once again, read his posts. If he can't control it in a forum setting, how can he control it in life. That is what red flag laws are for.

He talks about stacking the Supreme Court, getting rid of the electoral college: He states he wants to get rid of the Senate Filibuster. These are extreme views. This is his way of setting up an authoritarian government that 1 party can control everything. The thriller is extreme. He is authoritarian. He is everything he accuses Trump of being. I know you might agree with him on topics, which is completely fine, but the big picture shows he is an extremist.

I am...

INEVITABLE!

Be afraid everyone!

LOL at expanding the court (and putting term limits, I’ve suggested that too) abolishing the EC and senate filibuster ushering in authoritarianism. It ignores the current authoritarianism of the court’s makeup and how we got here (McConnell’s extremism). My goodness. Authoritarianism? Wait until they find out the Jan 6 plan for rejecting electors so that state legislatures decide election results rather than voters… talk about authoritarianism!

Why not just put me on ignore?

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., previously liked social media posts supporting the execution of Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi has been featured prominently in Republican ads and right-wing media attacks for years, with an uptick recently leading into November’s midterm elections. Last year, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said that “it will be hard not to hit” Pelosi with the speaker’s gavel if he takes over the position in 2023

DePape was an adherent of a number of conspiracies promoted in right-wing media, including QAnon and the belief that the 2020 election was stolen. DePape also cast doubt on preventative COVID actions like vaccinations and wearing masks, promoted antisemitic beliefs and defended former President Donald Trump.

Again, how is this any different than your typical Republican voter and/or politician?

Qanon? Check.
Anti mask/vax? Check.
Worships Trump? Check.
Believes in the Big Lie? Check.
Even the racism and anti-semiticism is becoming normalized.

Because I Don’t put people on ignore. I like to read peoples opinions and views. If you ignore peoples opinions and views and only read one side then you don’t have a full view of each topic.
You don’t have a full view of each topic when you intentionally misunderstand or lie about what people post either. You become offended when I accurately call out the bigotry of your tribe. So are you really seeking understanding or desire confirmation? I’m not sure how you’re coming out ahead.
