Yes it's hurt. Seems that they play better when Drama Queen not here.We need kyrie to come back so that the nets will start sucking again.

Minnesota
5-7
As of today would be tied for the #10 pick in the draft.
Brooklyn
5-7
As of today would be tied for the #10 pick in the draft.
Philadelphia
5-6
As of today would be tied for the #13 pick in the draft.
We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.
Just beautifulUpdated. I’m really feeling like Minnesota’s pick could end up in the lottery.
Nope. They haven’t even hit bottom yet. And then when they start sniping at each other in the media. . . it’ll be like sweet music. Let them implode. I’m here for it.I think they'll figure it out and get better.
Yeah. I’d do that in a heartbeat. Love those guys, but Hardy would be great for him I think. Plus Lauri and Sexton.People are dumb and extremely overreactive to small sample sizes. I would love to have Gobert back on this team. Especially if we only had to give up those players (no picks).
Problem is Rudy is the only one they have showing up. Everyone else is pouting and playing like ****. They need to gut the roster and add players around Gobert, or dump everything. I am glad we will likely end up with a great pick from that trade, and the players we got were the real core of that team, but man I still feel bad for Rudy. If those guys could get it together they could make some noise, but the internal squabbling is going to kill them. They have no direction, and too many of the key players have way too much quit in them, like Kat and Edwards. Sad for Rudy, happy for us. GO JAZZ!!I wonder if Minnesota's front office is jumping up and down in joy like they did when they acquired Gobert.
I think Kessler is well on his way, and frankly exactly what we need in that role right now. We don't need a Rudy because we have a bunch of guys who give a **** and are putting forth real effort on both ends of the floor. Imagine that, if you add guys who care about defense and play team offense you can win games! Who knew? Definitely not DL nor Snyder, that is for sure.We have a bunch if 10-20M guys playing at or above their paygrade. Would need to clear out more than 2 to make room for Rudy.
I dont like it. We cant stretch the cap enough without giving up what we are. We just need Kessler to turn into the Walmart-Rudy he showed he can be yesterday.
At this rate it is a damn good possibility. I will happily take it.Updated. I’m really feeling like Minnesota’s pick could end up in the lottery.
Their schedule is about to get really hard for the rest of the year. If the injury bug hits them at all then it could get interesting.Minnesota has played 9 home games and 3 road games, have had a baby soft schedule, and are 5-7.
They're a disaster.
The issue is, as I said numerous times before the season, that Rudy doesn't fit in with their style of play. They've been terrible with him on the court offensively because their entire offensive philosophy last year was to get up and down the court/shoot quick 3s. Anthony Edwards is one of the most dynamic athletes in the league and hasn't even dunked in a game this year because their spacing is terrible with Rudy/KAT on the court together.Problem is Rudy is the only one they have showing up. Everyone else is pouting and playing like ****. They need to gut the roster and add players around Gobert, or dump everything. I am glad we will likely end up with a great pick from that trade, and the players we got were the real core of that team, but man I still feel bad for Rudy. Yeah I also read KAT is taking higher % of his shots from the paint when Gobert is on the floor vs when he is off.A lot of new articles about Minnesota this week. The most damning thing is the KAT/Gobert fit.
Minnesota is terrible on defense when Gobert is out and terrible on offense when Gobert is in.
It has a lot to do with KAT. He is playing terrible on defense and his offense has been non-existent with Gobert on the floor. They are missing the three-point shooting Beasley brought to them last year and their spacing is really bad.
I don’t think they will tumble as far down as top-5 worst record in the league but top-10 is a possibility and I think there is a really good chance this pick ends up in the lottery. I think Minnesota ends up in a play-in game and what happens there will be the difference between a lottery pick or a pick in the mid-teens for us.
Really it all just shows they (meaning the FO and coaching staff) have no idea how to best use Gobert to initiate offense, and have not done a good job of surrounding him with the right talent. They gave us their heart and soul, and what they have left isn't cutting it. On paper they should be dominant, but ANT and KAT are both soulless. They don't seem to care much about the game in general, and the coaching staff have no idea how to get the team to play together the right way. Too bad for them, and good for us in the long run potentially. They should be way better than this.Yeah I also read KAT is taking higher % of his shots from the paint when Gobert is on the floor vs when he is off.
That makes literally no sense if its true.
