**** THE TANK
This should oficially replace "take note"**** THE TANK
Sorry but I hate it..
Another win against a team missing their alpha. This time it was CP3.
Absolutly, he was a top player. He remain a good player but not alpha anymore.Alpha?CP3? Maybe 10 yearsago.
Me yelling at my tv when we are losing or make a bad play….I'm so very conflicted. My head says tank, but then I watch the games and my heart says win. Before the season I never imagined this team would be so fun and easy to root for.
Me yelling at my tv when we are losing or make a bad play….
My kids “but don’t you want them to lose”
Me “yes… but not tonight damnit… it’s complicated okay!!!”
My 11 yo daughter is so sweet… she comes and watches games with me just to hang out and discovers that we are both preteen girls who don’t know what we want. She’s the best.
People keep using the unicorn example from 25 years ago on why teams should tank. Defeats the argument.People always have to cherry pick teams like ORL and SAC to say we shouldn't tank.
Meanwhile the Spurs tanked exactly one season and ended up with Duncan, so it works both ways.
Jazz don't have a #1 alpha and probably should be in the lottery. If they don't get lucky with Victor they will still end up with a very good player because this draft is stacked. They would still have enough draft capital to make a trade for a star as soon as this offseason. There's exactly no reason for the tank to last multiple seasons. We need some young studs that fit around Kessler.
Yeah the list of guys we thought were unicorns and who flopped bad is so so so much longer than the list of guys who actually succeeded.People keep using the unicorn example from 25 years ago on why teams should tank. Defeats the argument.

Yet this year we will draft that guy.
