2023 NBA Draft Megathread

This is better -- 19 pts on 8/15 and 2/5 from 3p. with 6 rebs and 2 stocks. It looks like SC is making more of an effort to get him the ball. Looks like he's gaining confidence from mid-range.

Watching Creighton - Baylor Scheierman could be an interesting end of first, early second round pick. a young joe ingles type. left handed shooting stroke, excellent passer, etc. a do it all type guy with range and playmaking. jon konchar is another guy he reminds me of out of a mid-major.

507 should reference a poster's diminished mental capacity as in the computer error "507 Insufficient Storage".
Good one.
507 is a commonly used Penal Code, which in addition to being Code for a Public Nuisance as I was suggesting, is also code for Criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication which I also was suggesting. Like User 1 aka obsessive forum abuser/ uses 1 name to post and another, User 2 to do mostly nothing but troll and thumb down any posters who repeatly own User 1.

I need to watch more of GG but these highlights are doing nothing for me. Doesn't seem like a + athlete at all.

I freaking love Anthony Black. We need to do our best to trade up and snag him.

He's a good athlete like, say, a young Jeff Green. He's more athletic than Siakam--more vertically explosive and quicker hands. He's athletic enough to be a complete player and potentially a #1 option. Ideally, he grows another inch to a bonafide 6'9".

I like him to, but he is closer to undrafted than he is 1st round. He's probably the prospect type that will need a handful of years either in the G-League or overseas before he can be a NBA player.

He's more athletic than Siakam from your eye test? Truly not being condescending, just want to clarify

Yeah, more vertically explosive and quicker hands. GG has a quick first and second jump and gets above the rim easily. GG does have a narrow waist and high center of gravity, which hurt his lateral quickness. He ends up trailing the play defensively too often. Siakam has more length and is a better defender right now.

GG isn't an otherworldly athlete, but his athleticism isn't going to hold him back. It would be similar to a player like Jayson Tatum, who has enough athleticism to be a solid triple-threat and two-way player.

Jeez and you just do this part time on the internet.

Thanks for the insight

If everything goes wonderfully well for Miller, I could see him possibly developing into a player similar to Brandon Ingram. I think that might be his role model and probably his best-case scenario. He does have an issue with the way he uses his body to support his jump shot that will limit his ability to shoot off the dribble or shoot off of movement. (See old school Danny Manning.) If he can smooth that out it will make him a more versatile shooter. It looks like he'll probably guard 3s and 4s, and maybe switch a little.

I still think he's a floor-spacing shooting wing. I'm not sure he gets picked ahead of Cam Whitmore or Keyonte George when it's said and done, but he's looking like top-10 range imo.
