Walker Kessler Should No Longer Play Until KO is Traded

Because Rudy is worth far more than that. He isnt worth 5 1st, but no reason to disrespect him by saying he's only worth Vanderbilt (that's who I'm guessing "JB" is because we dont have Jared Butler and B/V are next to each other on a keyboard), THT, and a 2nd rounder.

I find the lack of respect for a top 5 player all time for this franchise is alarming when I get flamed because I'm slightly critical of first year players who havent proven anything.

You’re living in the past , my question was , what would you realistically give up for Rudy as of right now ? What’s his current worth ?

If he is that good , why has rookie Kessler , that comes off the bench have more blocks than him ? Already has better hands and is getting better as the season goes on .

Rudy is and has long been avoided when he is in the paint. Guards shoot from further away, kick out more and drive to the rim less.

Kessler is being tested way more. They might start avoiding Kessler as well if he keeps this up.... which is a good thing if it happens.

Blocks aren't the best way to actually judge how good a guy is defensively.

Despite Kessler playing well, I'm afraid we may have a problem seeing an increase in his minutes. Heres why:

Ive stated that Kessler and Olynyk are tough to fit on the field at the same time. Hardy seems to think the same way, and thus they have only been on the court in 16 of our 25 games, for an average of 5.6 minutes per each of those games.

However thats not the real scoop that I found. Get this: Kessler and Vando have played together for exactly 0 minutes this entire season.

3 pointers and spacing the paint on offense must be so important to Hardy that he hasnt even tried those two together once.

True , but would you be wanting to be paying Rudy for what he is dishing up right now for the wolves , a huge 1 rebound the other night .

I don’t get why Kessler comes under such scrutiny in his rookie year , Rudy couldn’t catch the ball for his first 3 years , I guess some would say he still can’t … this young man can

Man, if you really dont know why Kessler has more blocks than Gobert than you really have no ability to critically analyze a basketball game.

Why did Rudy only have 1 rebound the other night ?

He has more blocks because his timing and coverage for a rookie has been outstanding .

You just look like a fool because you started this pathetic thread and have been shown up how many times now ? Your attack on sexton another example

Ehh, if I'm wrong so what? I'd rather be wrong and have the entire team be really good.

Rudy has less blocks because players do not go at Rudy Gobert the same way they go at a rookie. Gobert also rarely tries to block shots and instead tries to position himself to make players do what he wants. Hassan Whiteside had plenty of seasons with more blocked shots than Gobert. As a Jazz fan it's wild that you are acting like raw shot blocking numbers are the holy grail for defensive among bigs.

He had a 1 rebound game because he had a bad rebounding night. If you want to argue that the guy who has been a top 5 rebounder the last 5 years in the NBA is a bad rebounder, go for it bud.

So you still haven’t answered the main question , if you were to trade for Rudy right now , who from the Utah jazz would you give for him ?

Go , you’re on the clock
