I don't understand how NAW goes from playing really well to immediately getting DNP's. The more I see from Hardy the more he seems like an idiot.
 
Oh and there was a challenge that Hardy should have used early in the game. The refs called the ball out on the jazz and it was very clearly off nurkic on the replay. It was guaranteed to be overturned. Anytime at any point in the game if you see a call that is guaranteed to be overturned and the overturn wont result in a jump ball but instead gives your team possession out right, you have to use the challenge. Dont save them.

Lauri was waiting for KO to get back on offense. Maybe someone else should have been dribbling or something but I understand not wanting to go 4 on 5 on offense in a crucial possession. Hardy should have called timeout.

And played great again tonight. Unfortunately he was out there with tht and beasley a lot and neither one could make a shot. (they were 2-13 combined and THT went 0-2 from the line to boot)

I stand corrected about having the lead but i still dont think its wise to go 4 against 5 on a crucial possession.
 
One other note. I was getting pretty frustrated by how often they got Grant missmatched on sexton. Over and over and over again. Something needed to be done to stop that and nothing was done. It was almost like we were cool with that matchup. (grant had 33 efficient points)

He gets pushed around pretty easily. The scouting report should say to be physical with him. It works pretty well. He seems to be almost reverting to just being a spot up three point shooter. A very good one no doubt but his dribble drive, running off screens, and post up game seems to be regressing.

There's no doubt or any question were those 2 weak plays for Lauri foolish or not because they were foolish.
Funny how differently we can see and watch the game and comment them.

But still Lauri had once again 20+ point ( 21PTS ) game and that's OK.
Lauri just need to keep that scoring pace and then we'll see is it enough for allstar game.
Jazz defence was horrific in 1st half that's not secret because everyone saw how clueless Jazz were in defence.

Now Jazz should get Conley back
because these nights when ball is not moving enough ( Seton 0 assists and Clarkson 3 ) Conley's playmaking is more than needed.

I'm not talking only Lauri's scoring i'm talking whole Jazz scoring as a team.
But if the goal is now more to tank for Wemby or Scoot Henderson then Jazz can keep Conley out so long as they need and want to,

We haven't seen as much as earlier Markkanen's dribble drive, running off screens, and post up game since Mike's injury. Our guards (Sexton, JC, THT) play the iso drive game they have always played, although with more kickout attempts than before. As long as MIke sits on the bench, we don't have a facilitator point guard. Vando had a nice game. He is one of my favorite players on this team, Happy to see him make those 3-point shots.

Lauri must be sent away, right?

He does not get any passes in 2nd half because Clarkson&Sexton&Beasley have their own threesome going on.
