Both of these shots are good examples. Dude just uses zero percent of his body to create contact. You'd like to see someone 7'1 w/ a 7'6 wingspan who is also coordinated to put into someone.

That's just something he never had to do in college. He'll learn.

It's funny going back and watching Walker highlights from college. Dude would shoot a 3 almost every game and would sometimes take 4 or 5. Dont think he has attempted anything outside of 5 feet for Utah.

yup. he didn't shoot a good percentage (20% iirc), but he could make them and they didn't look bad. and he'd take little jump hooks on occasion, iirc. he had that stuff in his bag. i think that's why i'm a little disappointed he's basically only shooting from like 2 feet and in with the jazz. and yes, i realize the nba isn't college, but it seems we'd seem him at least attempt some of those things on occasion.

Yeah, wow, ~25% of his shot attempts were from 3 in college. He only made 20%, and that is with a college 3-point line, so best he sticks to the paint where is 73% right now.

If he could develop even some marginal spacing it would make the team construction a lot easier moving forward if he is a piece for the future.

Like when people photoshop guys with another teams jersey and it just looks oversized and awkward. It’s like the ink dried on the contract and his cousin mocked something up for his Twitter.

He's awesome... but its stats like this that drive me nuts. Like what if we change the qualifiers to 15 rebounds or 4 blocks? Its the same stuff they did with Donovan that made him look like prime Jordan.

You see this then you look up David Robinson's rookie year and see he was 24/12/4 in 36 minutes a night as a rookie. Walker's career high is 20 pts... Lets not do this so that people don't get it twisted.

It’s perfect. Nike wouldn’t let us change the uniforms so we’re trying to butter up Adidas and get cozy with them, hoping they’ll do it for us.

Also, this reminds me of the fact that every sign company has the ********* signs for their own company. Has anyone noticed this? Here’s an example of a place in SLC:
