FIFA WORLD CUP 2022

Best final i think ive ever seen, unbelievable. The perfect ending to Messi's career. All he has to do now is play a final season at Barcelona and it will be complete.
Indeed. I can't recall any final like this. Argentina should have won it during regular time, incredible how quickly the game changed in a few minutes. For Messi it was first the Cup America and now the WC. Perfect ending for his career.

Overall, nobody in South America likes Argentina winning (they are too cocky), but it's hard to root against Messi. Happy for them, well-deserved

Yeah but let's face it, some houses aren't worth as much as the others..

Buenos Aires is beautiful, some of the apartments are unbelievable the old French style stuff built in the 1920s and 30s. I'd happily retire there.

I actually stayed over the road from that building when I was over there, that is right in the centre of town, its a great city.

Comparative apartment in Melbourne would set you back between 2 and 3 million, and i doubt it would be as big. You can live very comfortably over there for 400 to 500 dollars a week. When I was over there (and that was a while a go now), dinner in a nice restaurant would cost in the neighbourhood of 20 to 30 dollars, 1 litre of beer was $1.50. (coffee was more expensive than beer!) The peso has devalued massively, it was around 1 AUD to 4 peso when i was over there, its now 1 AUD to 116 ARP.

Damn.. Melbourne’s that expensive now? Too rich for me.. lol..

Prices in Argentina sounds very much on par with what’s here in Thailand.. I’m loving the variety and low cost of food and other amenities here so far.. coming up 3 years here now.

1986 still beats this to me. And overall 1982 is the best WC ever. Yes I know I am old.

Have you been to Mexico City? It has some beautiful architecture too and it's livelier and cooler than Buenos Aires, especially in the neighborhoods of Roma and Condesa. I loved Buenos Aires the first few times I went there, but Mexico City is a much better city to live. My two biggest issues with Mexico City is the pollution (particularly around April, before the rain season) and how far is from the beach, although you can always grab a cheap flight to Yucatan or Oaxaca.
