Womens' tournament will happen in 2023.


I'm super excited about the World Cup. I've been following the Prem and Champions League this year. The time zone difference can be tough, but European football is the best sports competition out there. It will be fun to watch players from my favorite club (Spurs) play for their home nations.

Significantly better location for the Women's World Cup.
 
I thought I read awhile ago that the U.S. didn't qualify for the world cup. I see them on the list of teams though, so I must be crazy. How is this year's U.S. team compared to past teams?

Weak. Lost qualifiers to Canada. Has tough group and probably won't make it out vs England and Wales.

They are the youngest team at the World Cup, and are often referred to as the "most talented" generation of American footballers we've had. Unfortunately there's not a lot of belief in the coach and there were some questionable team selections and really poor performance heading into the World Cup.

But as lifelong Jazz fan I'm built for the disappointment. I'm super excited to see them play and the group difficult but wide open.

They've got a lot of very talented players individually, getting them to play as a team is another matter.
 
Where is the mens world cup taking place? Is it saudi arabia or something?

Where will the womens world cup be?

(I like the womens tournament much better than the mens fwiw)

If im completely honest though my reasons for liking womens soccer more than mens has little to do with the fact that im attracted to women and the many women soccer players are hawt. 2 main reasons I like womens soccer better are: 1. It seems like they get more shots on goal and more goals than the men. Seems to be higher scoring. Thats the main reason. 2. USA womens team is always near the top and Im a homer.
