It's crazy that for something that has not had any public discussion I have personally participated, often unwillingly, in more than a half-dozen public discussions of it. I have read more than a dozen accounts of it online. I have heard it mentioned in major news outlets.

There absolutely has been a ton of discussion about this. It just seems like you didn't like the conclusion.

I think you mistake cheerleading with discussion. People are selling hard, but very little is put out there regarding the negative side effects.

But because I’m encouraging the topic to even be discussed there are people, such as this poster, who jump to conclusions and go on the attack. Science is science because it allows itself to be questioned and reaffirmed continuously.

I don't think Gameface is cheerleading the vaccine or attacking you. He is just pointing out that Covid has been one of the most studied and discussed diseases ever (along with the vaccines). The information is out there and so far it seems the covid vaccines has been a success for saving lives while minimizing the risk of short or long-term side effects. Perhaps there are a few reputable studies that show otherwise. Nothing wrong with sharing them here.

I think the discussion in Jazzfanz is pretty chill when you compare it with Twitter (as long as you keep it respectful and don't act like oneye or UtahJazz32)

I've heard the negative stuff. Even from sources less dumb than the post above mine. It is out there.

Who is telling you that this info isn't out there? Anyone telling you that is lying to you and you should ask yourself why they are lying about that.

just so you know people that have active covid19 virus are developing clots, PE's and strokes regardless of vaccine arguments. I have seen within the last week normalish people with + viral testing in their middle age have life altering strokes, thrombotic in nature. not saying the vaccine is not potentially a possible issue for increased thrombosis but the virus itself is as well, that is fact.

It’s amazing how many people here believe that this is the first vaccine to not have any rare side effects. Do the benefits outweigh those risks; most likely, yes. But, there isnt even a public discussion tracking such risks on a vaccine that was pushed out in record time. Discussion of any kind has been shut down completely.

I have read lots of discussions about what you say isnt being discussed.

I've had 4 vaccine shots now and somehow still alive.

The vaccine immediate side effects were way worse for me than actual covid (and yes, I know that's likely because I was vaccinated). The day after a covid **** I feel like my body is going to fall apart

Only my first 2 shots gave me side effects (still didnt miss work or anything though).
My next three shots had no side effects at all. Not even a sore arm.

I still havent had covid as far as i know

How absolutely angry and insecure both sides get over COVID is embarrassing. Personally I don't think Stockton is correct but why does it bother people? Who really cares?

Me I'm more concerned with where it came from and how China has once again become a hotbed.

I was more curious about 1st bird flu and swine flu, as some companies already had medicines developed for them. Zika vaccine that was horrible public health failure also came out very fast.

China is the most logical hotbed of all.. not only because of dense population areas and hygiene issues.. but also because of their sus traditional medicines and weird critter eating habits.

The second one is pretty easy. They have had very strict measures to control it for 3 years. It started getting harder to control and people got more and more upset. They opened up things and it is sweeping across pretty much the only place that it hasn't been yet.

As far as where it came from. It seems pretty likely it came from a wild animal probably through one kept in unsanitary conditions with humans around. There is a small but unlikely chance it was accidently leaked from a lab.

Those seem far less important than someone trying to scare as many people as possible away from taking this vaccine, other vaccines, and future vaccines. People like Stockton are causing scary diseases that were once eliminated back. That's a problem.
