John Stockton Claims He Had Proof of 1000 Athletes Dying of Vaccine

Um. No. Tribalism has rotted out your brain. Biden calling this pandemic in the summer of 2021 a pandemic of the unvaccinated isn’t a lie nor is it comparable to the ridiculous lies and absurd Covid cures Trump told on a daily basis throughout 2020.
This is a lie. After Biden said this, he got the virus 2 times, if not 3. You lying is no different that John. The vaccine NEVER stopped transmission. The vaccinated were getting abd transmitting COVID too. This is nothing more than a fascist bully tactic.

This has already been addressed in post 67. The fact that you haven’t answered the question posed by me to you in post 65 is interesting. Sorry, but we don’t only get to talk about the subjects you want and how you want to frame them.
I am talking to 3 different guys here with many different angles.

Yet you were ok with the government unconstitutionally forcing people against their will to take an experimental drug? I think that's a point you all miss. A vast majority of people are not anti-vaccine, most are anti- Authoritarian. Specifically the African American community. I don't agree but vaccines are also against certain religions. Again many courts found the mandates against the law.

Personally I think it's one of the biggest human rights violations in American history.
It’s funny to me that those who kissed the boots of the most authoritarian president in our history tend to brag about being anti-authoritarian. Tribalism man, it’s a helluva drug.

I'm not talking about Trump. I understand he's your scapegoat but I agree he's a moron. See you have to spread diatribe and change the subject. Talk about true tribalism. Trump all day everyday with y'all

You’re still not addressing the pts made in post 67 and you’ve yet to answer the question posed in 65. You just keep copying and pasting the same “Biden is bad and me big angry” post over and over and over.

You didn’t need to talk about Trump. I was saying that those who kissed the boots who kissed the boots of the most authoritarian president we’ve had tend to brag about being the most anti-authoritarian. The fact that you thought this was about Trump and referring to you specifically seems to indicate a sense of guilt.

Scapegoat and true tribalism.

Meh, no hard feelings and my bad for being blunt but when you have nothing else but to whataboutism Trump, you've gotten nothing else. Trump had nothing to do with anything. I despise both Trump and Biden but he's gone.

Hypocrisy at its finest. Even the most Trump hating scientists give Trump administration mass credit for his part in the creation. The only difference is that Biden told you to take it not Trump.

Sorry man, no hate but it's true. I don't even like Trump.
It’s 2023 and conservatives still can’t decide whether trump should be credited with the vaccines or if the vaccines suck and aren’t effective. It’s amazing. Exhibit A of tribalism rotting out your mind. When posters on here criticize me over my dialogue with conservatives on here, I hope they take into consideration thoughtful posts like this one and take a look at the Overly emotional fact free garbage that will most surely follow.

This is how most rational people without tribalism rotting out their minds view things:

By mid 2021, it was obvious that the Trump admin deserved credit for operation warp speed. The vaccines were significantly effective at stopping Covid transmission, preventing severe illness, and death. This remains true in 2023 despite there being variants that have made the vaccines slightly less effective. However, we know much more about the virus, how to treat it, and our hospitals aren’t overwhelmed like they were in 2020.

That doesn’t take away from the fact that a large segment perhaps even majority of the population in 2020, had reservations about vaccines that the Trump administration were rushing through. Why? Because Trump was literally doing and saying everything to downplay the virus and pass Kook cures so that he’d be re-elected. He was intimidating the CDC and FDA to forego vaccine testing and give the vaccines the go-ahead before the election NOT TO HELP prevent transmission but so he could brag about developing a vaccine prior to the election to boost his re-election. This has been widely reported by the Wash Post and NY Times in 2020 and has been included in various books by Phil Rucker, Susan Glasser, and David Baker since. Reading is good!

Now, trying to bludgeon Biden in 2023 for saying good things about the vaccines in mid 2021 just seems petty and tribal. Of course no one through the vaccine would 100 percent stop Covid just like brakes and seat belts don’t 100 percent protect against injury and death in car accidents. Get over Biden beating Trump. Grow up.

Lol you contradict your entire post. You're literally 100% wrong. As far as Trump I already told you I'm not feeding your tribal cult like addiction. You brought up Trump. You... Don't pin your addiction on me. That's what addicts do. Blame everyone but themselves. **** Trump.

John Stockton though lolololol. Y'all crying about a nobody. The audacity.

Absolutely I was concerned in the spring and summer of 2020 that Trump would rush a vaccine, intimidate the CDC, lie about its safety, and use it for re-election. Did you like miss the Mueller report, 1st impeachment, and all those health press conferences he did where he suggested it would go away by Easter or we try malaria treatments or inject disinfectant? Trump’s personality type to commit immorality is unparalleled in American presidential history. He lost credibility among most Americans a long time ago. Those of us with brains not rotted out with tribalism recognized that and voted his *** out. Sorry!

His top priority was re-election, not our health and well-being. That’s what a completely immoral and narcissistic president obsessed with staying in power would do. That’s why he attempted to overturn the 2020 election. That’s a completely different situation from the Biden administration in 2021.

You guys can’t have it both ways. You can’t claim that you’re merely treating Biden the same way other treated Trump while ignoring the mountain of immoral and insane acts that ONLY Trump, not Biden, did. You can’t claim that you’re just reciprocating Democratic vaccine hesitancy under Trump as under Biden because by that time the vaccines had proven to be safe and effective in mid 2021. Finally, I know your ilk doesn’t want to admit this, Biden isn’t a narcissistic sociopath who’ll do and say anything to stay in power. That’s another reason. Biden has credibility among us who haven’t had brains rotted out by tribalism, Trump doesn’t because of all the insane lies he told over the years.

Sorry man, but Trump and Biden aren’t the same and the situations are completely different for reasons that have nothing to do with tribalism. Not everything has to be tribal man.
So you’re full response is because it was Trump…

You’re reasons:
1.“Trump” would rush the vaccines…not the pharmaceutical companies, gotcha
2. “Trumps personality type”
3. Trump only cares about reelection; that is subjective and not fact.
4. Trumps immoral and insane acts
5. Trump doesn’t have credibility
6. Trump and Biden are not the same

You mentioned that it was proven safe and effective by mid 2021, yet only by April 19th did every state open all eligibility to 16-adults. August 23 12-15 were eligible.

How is it proven to be safe and effective in 6 weeks? You’re questioning people’s hesitancy?!?!? 1 year in development and a typical vaccine takes 10 years to develop? You can’t see why people have hesitancy?!?!?

Again not everything is political except when it comes to you, everything is political, tribal, racist, authoritarian and you are morally superior to everyone else and if they think differently then you they are MAGA, Nazi, Anti-vaxxers, trolls, brain rot or any other negative word of the week.

Scapegoat and true tribalism.

Trump Trump trump trump trump.

This is the Thriller. If you don’t see it his way and question it you’re a Nazi, or this week it’s brain rot.

When you look at the situation with reason you ask yourself some questions:
1. Does the vaccine stop me from getting Covid? No
2. If I keep taking the new boosters does it stop me from getting Covid? No
3. Can I still spread Covid if I take the Vaccine? Yes
4. If I take the vaccine boosters can I still spread Covid? Yes
5. Does it help me personally from the severity of Covid? Yes
6. Does taking the boosters help me yearly with the severity of Covid? Yes
7. Do you get natural immunity from getting Covid? Yes
8. Can you get Covid after having natural immunity? Yes
9. Which lasts longer, natural immunity or Vaccinations? There are studies on both sides that make a claim each is longer lasting
10. Do the Covid Vaccines have side effects?
Yes but extremely rare.
11. Does Covid affect people with poorer health? Yes

You look at the data and you can see how hesitation can creep in. For example if a 25 healthy female who already got Covid could say I don’t think I need the vaccine because I’m healthy and I have some natural immunity.
Nothing from this example says it’s Trumps or Bidens fault. They just looked at data and made a personal choice. They made it with reason or took out the emotion side of things. It’s okay, they are not an anti-vaxxer or a Nazi or have brain rot for their decision.

Or you could make the moral superiority decision:

This was already addressed in post 67 and you have yet to answer my question from post 65. Repeating yourself like a broken record isn’t helpful.

You’re bringing up… Nazis in this thread? Who did I refer to as a Nazi? Was it necessary to bring this up in your post? What purpose does it serve?

Overly emotional fact free garbage. Whether we’re talking Covid, elections, climate change, gun control, women’s rights, etc all too often my friends in the right are unable to engage in debate calmly and rationally. It’s just one emotional outburst of conspiracy and nonsense after another. This is exactly what I predicted back in post 90.

I wished conservatives could debate topics with their more liberal colleagues in a rational, honest, and fact driven manner. cc @One Brow

The pros of vaccination far outweighs the cons. It’s the best way we have to live normal lives while preventing transmission, severe illness, and death. I think vaccine hesitancy has far more to do with tribalism and the vaccine disinformation peddled by garbage propaganda sources like Fox News everyday than any 25 year old weighing her options. It’s increasingly concerning to be that the anti vax movement aided by the right wing is now enabling other terrible diseases, like polio, to come back. Shameful. Unfortunately, a lot of people who have had their brains rotted out by tribalism don’t feel shame in peddling anti vax nonsense.

The part where you compared seatbelts to putting an experimental drug into ones body that was unconstitutionally mandated? It was a stupid analogy. The government has never killed people with seatbelts.

Pointing out that you just call people something negative every time they disagree with you. Like I said earlier your name calling this week is “rotten brain”.

People bring up facts and articles; you then try to sham the person because you can’t respond with facts. Call people anti-vaxers or brain rot is the emotional response.

They do, lots of people do when they debate you. You just don’t want to receive the information.

Are you saying the right wing is responsible for polio cases? Where are your facts? You want to debate with facts bring it.

Where are most polio cases happening? Not in the USA, try the Middle East.

“4. Why is polio rebounding?

The $19 billion global campaign eradicated the virus from much of the globe. But it has retained a foothold in Pakistan and Afghanistan, areas of continuing conflict with a history of suspicion of vaccination programs that was amplified by the US Central Intelligence Agency’s use of a vaccination worker to gather information that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden in 2011.”

What about the USA? Interesting after 6 months of a vaccination push, they lifted the emergency.

Interesting, I was told by @The Thriller that Fox News was making vaccine hesitancy worse. Yet it doesn’t look like that with polio.

Bring some facts to the table.

The African American community is the least vaccinated and Thriller is calling it tribalism. Either he doesn't understand history or he's not very bright. He considered that "right wing extremism". Extremely stupid stance. He cant see anything past right or left. Many religions do not like putting stuff into their bodies.

It's far more complex than "right wing" idiocy. How one can be so amazingly colorblind is beyond me but again... It is a cult... It is brainwashing.

Where did Biden who heads the US government get the lie that it did stop transmission?
I’m not sure, although I also don’t think it was a lie, but it might have been because early data showed Pfizer’s vaccine did reduce transmission of the early variants:

“Within months of the vaccine hitting the market, researchers in the UK (here) and Israel (here) began publishing studies suggesting that the Pfizer vaccine was reducing transmission of the virus.

In February 2021, for example, Israeli data (here) showed a sharp drop in infections among healthcare workers within 15-28 days of receiving the two-shot Pfizer vaccine series, indicating the vaccine was not just preventing symptomatic disease, but also preventing the virus from being passed from person to person.

“Whether it is 75 or 90 percent reduction doesn’t matter - it is a big drop in transmission,” Michal Linial, a professor of molecular biology and bioinformatics at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, told Reuters at the time. “It means that not only is the individual vaccinated protected, the inoculation also provides protection to his or her surroundings” (here)

Evidence continued to build in 2021 that the mRNA-based vaccines prevented infections and onward transmission of the virus (here). But with the advent that year of the coronavirus Delta variant, plus waning immunity from vaccines delivered at the start of the year, protection against infection and transmission was seen to be dropping, although not eliminated, as previously described by Reuters Fact Check (here).
