I havent heard anything from the Jazz organisation indicating we are sellers.

There are other options besides hoarding picks to make the team better. We can target guys who might have upside. Superstars are made not only by drafting them but putting talented players on a position where they can succeed, develop and flourish. We know that better than anyone.

For example: we need a primary ball handler and god knows there are plenty of guys standing in line to get that chance.. sitting behind proven starters.

Josh Giddey and SGA chemistry and compatability has been a topic in OKC, since they ball require the ball a lot. If Giddey is made available, I would jump on him.

Andrew Nembhard is a starter in Indy and they love him.. but he will never be the primary ballhandler for the first team. He has shown great promise in that role and is a very good defender at least.

Those are just two examples of players who we could target instead of selling guys for picks. Both teams also might value players over picks.

We aren’t getting Giddey unless we’re trading premium picks.

We want to trade a premium pick for Andrew Nembhard?

All of the picks we have are ****ing premium. If we trade them we better be getting someone really good.

Also, we heard all off-season that Donovan wasn’t getting moved and we were retooling around him. We all know how that ended up. We are going to tank the **** out of this b**ch. It’s coming.

Also, we heard all off-season that Donovan wasn’t getting moved and we were retooling around him. We all know how that ended up. We are going to tank the **** out of this b**ch. It’s coming.

A week ago there was word from FO that JC "fits our timeline". So we have to assume they view the timeline for us to be competitive being max 2 years away. Trading players for picks delays the timeline while trading picks for players accelarates it.

We are not winning with our current roster.. that much they know. But do they see us needing 3 or 4 key pieces.. or maybe just 1 or 2?

Imo, PG is the key area to invest in.. and adding a two way forward is another, albeit its a smaller priority.

We weren’t trading Rudy either… then we did… then they weren’t trading Donovan and we’re going to retool around him… then we traded him. The organization lets you hear what they want you and others to hear. Its not in their best interest to be like “this **** must go now!!!”

We actually haven't been competitive against actual top teams. Most of the times we have played what would be a top team they were usually missing a key player or 2. It is a shame that we didn't actually get a chance to play against healthy top teams or we might have 5 more losses from the Pelicans and Grizz alone. That would have been awesome.

Dude....There are two games we werent competitive in. Cavs blew us out shooting 61/57/80 vs our 38/29/73 line, and Bucks caught us gassed from that Pels OT game (our effort wasnt there).

Notice how Pels are winning still.. even without Zion (who played in both games against us). Also Suns have played worse with CP3 than they did when he was out and we beat them.

Kings were fully healthy.. but obviously they are not a good team or you think those games werent competitive. We also beat Denver healthy and even played their best roster close without Lauri and JC.

You claim we havent been competitive in a season where we literally have less than 5 clear losses.

Also, injuries are part of the game and we havent been fully healthy almost at all since Conley got hurt.

Your post mentioned the top teams. The pels are 2 and 2 without Zion recently and those 2 wins are against the rockets and wiz. They have been missing Ingram for a long time though and that is the piece paired with Zion that makes them elite. The suns have been struggling with CP playing because Booker, Cam Johnson and Cam Payne have been out. A fully healthy suns team blows away a healthy jazz team. We got off to an insane start this season where we were crazy clutch at the end of games but since that start we are 10-20 without being devastated by injuries. Yeah we have had a few hear or there but nothing crazy because we have such a similar level depth from one player to another. When Conley went down Sexton stepped in as the starting pg and actually played better than Conley. NAW stepped in when injuries forced him and he arguably played better than the guy he replaced. Also by no means are we a terrible team. I just don't view us as a competitive team that is actually close to competing against these elite teams in the playoffs. We are still a few key pieces away from possibly moving in that direction.

They did say they are "exploring options" before Rudy was traded.. and there were lots of reporters telling us a big move was maybe coming. I truely do think they wanted to retool around Donovan be either Donovan wanted no part of it or our FO couldnt get who they wanted at the right price.

This time there are no reporters telling we are sellers. Just some half-assed ones speculating what we should do.

We’re 10-20 in our last 30 games my man. We are not very good right now. The first half of the season was fun as **** but it’s time.

The jazz have been notorious for keeping stuff in house. Even with the Rudy and Donovan trades we heard some rumors but the rumors weren't even about the teams we ended up making the deals with. Same goes for Bogey. No one saw Bogey for Olynyk coming.
