Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

CJ McCollum says Raps dudes aren’t happy and thinks they make some moves. If it happens I’d guess it’s Fred Van Vleet and Gary Trent… maybe OG but I think they’d have to be bowled over.

Hard to pay a huge premium for a guy who is only under 1.5 years of team control.

Yeah it’s one reason I wouldn’t do it for us. He seems kinda like he’s always unhappy. At least the rumors are pretty consistent that he wants a larger role.

I could see a team like Phoenix or Miami giving two firsts for him.

What I think could materialize is a FVV and Trent for Westbrook and the picks type of thing. I don’t think they want to pay Fred and he’s been pretty rough this year.

I’d be interested in Trent Jr at the right price. They were rumored to like THT two off-seasons ago. If you pick up what I’m putting down.

Does he have a podcast or something? Why’d he commenting on this?
 
Local ESPN Sacramento radio hosts talked about the Kings going all-in for Lauri recently. This was just speculation on their part but I thought it was interesting. They mentioned taking the protections off of the 2024 first they owe Atlanta to open up some future picks for trade. Their hypotheticals were basically 2/3 firsts for Lauri or Keegan Murray plus extra for him. They said Lauri would be a perfect fit for their team and next to Sabonis.

If they offer a Gobert type deal then take it. Otherwise no.

Kangz get to the 4 seed and decide to go all in with future picks… haha sounds about right. YOLO!!!!
 
Kings could give swaps in 23/25/27/29 and then their 26/28 picks… add Murray and Barnes (flip him elsewhere). Obviously tempting but prolly have to pass.
 
Also on CJ and the Raps… guessing he is close with Trent since they played together… I think it’s basically guaranteed they move him if they get a decent offer.
