Today's PICKS games. UTH 13# MIN 15# 76ers 28#

DET (1-4) BRK (2-3) Nets should crash Pistons but 76ers are three spot ahead. We're 28#pick now.
CHI (3-2) CHA (2-3) Hornets back home but Bulls after Pacers loss.
DAL (1-4) PHX (4-1) need both to run away Twolves. Booker still OUT. Suns 4 wins in a row.

I have done enough martial arts in my life that I've taken more than a few good shots. But one of the worst was delivered by my 5 year old. I was talking to a friend at a barbecue and my wife sent him to get my attention. I was talking so I didn't respond right away and he started tapping my hip, getting more and more insistent until right as I turned toward him he full on slugged me and my little half-turn put it right on target for the jewels. Literally the only time on my life I had a nut shot take me right to the ground.

I would have been okay giving a better package to Washington for Rui. No firsts, but I think we could’ve given them a better player than Nunn. I like the upside of Rui and he plays the position I’d like to see DL prioritize in roster building. Seemed like a nice “buy low” option.

I dont know. We only own 4 second round picks total and its kinda good to have those as well to sweaten/finish some bigger deals down the line or to bring in super cheap end of bench projects/prospects.

Those little fists are perfect to avoid any contact with the thigh and just squeeze perfectly in there to get full contact with the junk.

My daughter and i wrestle and fight a lot. She knows that the groin is a big time no no

Fwiw coach ellis didnt mention any second round picks. Just said I would have given them a better player than nunn

If my dog gets real excited she jumps and has tagged me a couple times and dropped me… kids and dogs are the enemy of ballz

I realize that DA has been completely focused on adding high end assets, but I wish he’d insist on getting a throw in second round pick with every deal he makes. Feels like it would’ve been easy to add one to all six of the trades he has made so far. Then the Jazz would have extra picks to add to a deal just like this down the road.

Those 4 should be 9 at a minimum - with one of them being the high end 2nd round pick that the Pistons have this year. That would give the Jazz a lot more flexibility in making additional deals.

Yep. I usually was ready for the ones when we were wrestling and stuff. It is the unexpected ones that take the wind right out of your sails. Hell I took a solid one in a tournament once and I still won the match. It was very tender and I couldn't walk right for a week after, but I kept it going. But man that one smack was enough to drop me straight to the ground. The guy I was talking to found it hilarious of course, as I would have as well.

Why do we find something we know to be painful to be so hilarious? Few things are funnier than a good nut shot.

If you farted right when you got hit and dropped then I might have died on the spot from laughter.

Yeah definitely at least to the KO/Bogey trade at least one 2nd rounder. Detroit 2nd rounders are also better than most lol.

Especially, because when the trade was made you could argue that the Jazz were giving up the better player. That value difference should be made up in 2nd round picks or cash.

Beverley for THT and a 2nd
Bogdanovic for KO and a high 2nd.

I really wish DA would’ve held out for that additional value. Especially because Bogey and Beverley both sure seemed to have multiple suitors at the time. THT might’ve had interest from Indiana and nobody was mentioned as really wanting KO.
