Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Kind of crazy how much Wood has flamed out considering his upside and potential and what he showed before he got to Dallas. Of course Porz was the unicorn before he went to Dallas and look how that worked out. Maybe bigs just cannot develop and perform well in their system.

Even Powel to an extent. I thought he had a chance to be pretty good after his rookie year, but he hasn’t really progressed much past his rookie year, basically the same dude, maybe worse. Lol

Gobert actually would have been a really good pair with Luka. Can you imagine him setting screens for Luka all game and being the roll man where Luka is very good at finding bigs too?

I can see a case for him being underutilized and having more. Had some additional playmaking duties in Detroit. I wonder if his contract is viewed as positive though. He has had injury issues and is having like "knee soreness" games missed again.

He has a better case than a lot of guys imo. I would agree he's a buy low... but want more than just Kennard in that deal.

I'd feel confident that you'd rather have Kennard than Conley next season....unless it's some situation where you want more outgoing expiring salary in a trade.

I think we need to be in the business of buying guys when they are low, and I agree that Kennard is buy low and we could probably get something extra too. If he's the player he's been, I think the trade is still fine....but I'm still somewhat intrigued by him as a ball handler/more aggressive scorer. I think he has the skill, but I know LAC has tried to make him more aggressive but he never really complied.

Unles Conley is not playing games that will not be the case.

Don't know if this has been discussed yet, but the Nuggest are reportedly shopping Bones Hyland. People seem to think it's for a backup C and Naz Reid has been mentioned.

I wonder if they are interested in Vando. I'm not quite sure what to think of Bones. When I watch him, my thoughts are "he kinda sucks, but he's kinda good?". Frustrating player, but he has some talent.

We should help Minny get Bones for Naz... cuz Naz is good and Bones is more of what Minny doesn't need.

I think he is just the young guy that doesn't help them now and has some value on the trade market. I'm not a big fan... especially if we have JC and Sexton still on the roster.

Bones on/off stuff is pretty damning... please send him to Minny. He is -17.9 per 100 in on/off diff. That is below the Deandre Jordan line.

The funny thing is that whenever I watch Bones play, I get the sense he thinks he’s better than he really is and he thinks he’s quite a bit better than he actually is reminds me a a really bad singer from American Idol that gets shot down and is completely shocked he’s getting the feedback he’s getting. Lol. Best way to describe how he plays
