The Jazz only added 3 million in total salary this year. Buying out isnt extra money, you are just paying them to go home. So they will something back monetarily.

At worst, it has the same exact value as the Wolves ‘29 pick. I’ll admit that I’m underwhelmed that there’s ANY protections, but it’s still likely to convey as a 1st round pick. The value comes from what it COULD be when we trade it, and DA gave up too much chance on that end of it.

Yeah, I dont give a F about losing Vando or Beasley, it's just the fact that the Lakers get all these assets for very little while Utah has to add sweeteners for getting a top 4 protected pick. Just kind of ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh from Ainge.

This one and KO. Feel like we weren't clear winners. I guess the sales pitch is 1 pick, revs the tank and puts the fakers ahead of the pups.
