Darn....I was hoping for a different result but the same issue remains in that their defense isn't that solid but more so they can't score. Not a very balanced roster imo ..even though I like a lot of these guys since they developed them into good players...can't really say who needs to go but unfortunately something needs to change since it doesn't appear to be working even with the addition of JP (might get a bit better with JP on the floor but imo the the issue will remain that they don't have reliable scorers). Disappointing result! For first three quarters the Raptors were playing a smart game. But the fourth quarter a total collapse of defense ( especially in the paint) and communications. You noticed at the end of game Coach Nurse and Fred were extremely upset
actually, when refs decided to call 5 ridiculous fouls against the Raps at 2 minutes 43 seconds into the 4th, putting the Jazz into bonus with 9:17 to go... and continued with uneven calls, they basically paved the way for the Jazz.
Walker Kessler is really good. Forget the other 3 first round picks. I wouldn’t trade him straight up for Gobert at this point. TWolves with another L. it's our L. He should be on our team, not Thad. Not Koloko.

At 5:11 mark in the 4th quarter raptors had a 101-98 pt lead vs the jazz. By the end of the game the jazz somehow got 122 pts….. while the raptors only scored 116pts. My mind is losing brain cells how did we choke this game. We had this game until that debacle of a 4th quarter.

Personally I thought it was evident from our two games against Utah that Kessler even as a rookie would have satisfied our needs at centre and we would had him to start the season. Similar skill set to Yak…huge L by Masai IMO.
Kessler, easily, based on contract value compared to production. Even with Kessler v Gobert, it'll be the same answer. It's very hindsight of course. Timberwolves should be laughed at for the Gobert trade.
